يواجه قائد منتخب البرتغال«رونالدو» خطر الإيقاف عن المباراة الأولى في كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026، في حال تأهل منتخب بلاده للمونديال، كما هو متوقع، بعد تلقيه البطاقة الحمراء، لاعتدائه بمرفقه على دارا أوشيا، مدافع منتخب إيرلندا، في الشوط الثاني من عمر المباراة التي أقيمت بين المنتخبين بالعاصمة الإيرلندية دبلن، مساء أمس (الخميس)، بالتصفيات الأوروبية المؤهلة للمونديال، وفق التقرير الذي بثه موقع الـ«RT»، حيث سيقضي «رونالدو» عقوبة إيقاف إلزامية مباراة واحدة، يتم فرضها على أي لاعب يحصل على بطاقة حمراء، ليتأكد غيابه عن لقاء منتخب البرتغال مع ضيفه منتخب أرمينيا، يوم الأحد، في الجولة الأخيرة من التصفيات، علما بأن الفوز سيضمن مقعدا للمنتخب الملقب بـ«برازيل أوروبا» في كأس العالم، التي تقام الصيف القادم في الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا.
وتنص قواعد الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا» التأديبية على ضرورة إيقاف أي لاعب لمدة «مباراتين على الأقل حال ارتكابه خطأ جسيما»، ويكون الإيقاف «لمدة ثلاث مباريات على الأقل حال ارتكاب سلوك عنيف» أو «ثلاث مباريات على الأقل، أو فترة زمنية مناسبة للاعتداء، بما في ذلك الضرب بالمرفق».
وينطبق قرار الإيقاف، وفقا لـ«الفيفا»، على المباريات التنافسية، ولا يمكن تطبيقه في اللقاءات الودية التي تسبق المونديال.
وبناء على البطاقة الحمراء التي تلقاها رونالدو في مباراة إيرلندا، سيغيب رسميا عن مواجهة أرمينيا المقررة الأحد القادم، وفقا لقواعد الانضباط التابعة للفيفا.
كما يواجه «الدون» خطر الغياب عن المباراة الافتتاحية للبرتغال في كأس العالم 2026 أو حتى أول مباراتين إذا ما قررت اللجنة التنفيذية للفيفا تصنيف الاعتداء الذي ارتكبه على المدافع الإيرلندي على أنه حالة «عنف جسيم».
