شدد مدرب الاتحاد كونسيساو، على أن فريقه كان يدرك صعوبة المواجهة أمام النصر ضمن مباريات دور الـ16 من مسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، التي كسبها بنتيجة هدفين مقابل هدف، وجمعتهما على ملعب «الأول بارك» في الرياض.
وأشاد بالتحضير الجيد الذي أسهم في تحقيق الفوز، مؤكداً أن النصر فريق قوي يملك مدرباً خبيراً وله فترة طويلة في الدوري، وأن الانتصار تحقق بفضل الاستعداد الجيد للقاء.
وقال: «لم نكسب شيئاً حتى الآن، فقط فزنا بمباراة واحدة، وهدفنا الاستمرار في تقديم الأداء القوي خلال المنافسات القادمة»، مؤكداً أن العمل الذهني جزء أساسي من إعداد الفريق.
