أصدر الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) التعليمات الرسمية لمباراتي العراق والإمارات ضمن الملحق الآسيوي المؤهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2026.
وتم الإعلان رسميا عن توزيع المقاعد في مباراتي الذهاب والإياب، حيث ستلعب مباراة الذهاب في الإمارات يوم 13 نوفمبر القادم، وتم تخصيص 36 ألف مقعد للجمهور الإماراتي مقابل 6 آلاف للجمهور العراقي.
فيما ستعلب مباراة الإياب في البصرة يوم 18 نوفمبر وتم تخصيص 59 ألف مقعد لجماهير العراق مقابل 5 آلاف لجماهير الإمارات.
وأكد الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم أنه في حال تعادل المنتخبين في مجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب، سيتم اللجوء إلى الأوقات الإضافية وركلات الترجيح لتحديد الفائز، الذي سيتأهل إلى الملحق العالمي لمونديال 2026 في الولايات المتحدة وكندا والمكسيك.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has issued the official instructions for the matches between Iraq and the UAE in the Asian playoff qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
It was officially announced that the seats for the home and away matches will be distributed, with the first leg taking place in the UAE on November 13, where 36,000 seats have been allocated for the UAE fans and 6,000 for the Iraqi fans. The second leg will be played in Basra on November 18, with 59,000 seats designated for Iraqi fans and 5,000 for UAE fans.
FIFA confirmed that if the two teams are tied on aggregate after both matches, extra time and penalty kicks will be used to determine the winner, who will qualify for the global playoff for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
