رفع رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر المسحل أسمى آيات الشكر والعرفان لمقام خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود على الدعم اللامحدود لقطاع الرياضة، الذي تواصل كرة القدم السعودية حصد ثماره ومنها فوز الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بجائزة أفضل اتحاد وطني في قارة آسيا (الفئة البلاتينية) لعام 2025.
وتوجه رئيس الاتحاد السعودي بخالص الشكر والتقدير لوزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز الفيصل على جهوده واهتمامه المستمرين من أجل تسخير كافة الإمكانيات وتقديم كل الدعم للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، الذي كان له الأثر الكبير في حصد هذه الجائزة القارية.
وأكد المسحل أن فوز الاتحاد السعودي بجائزة أفضل اتحاد وطني في آسيا (الفئة البلاتينية) يعكس قيمة المملكة كمحور رئيسي لكرة القدم في قارة آسيا.
وتسلم رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ياسر المسحل الجائزة خلال حفل جوائز الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم الذي أقيم بمركز الملك فهد الثقافي في العاصمة الرياض مساء الخميس، بمشاركة نخبة من الشخصيات الرياضية والنجوم في النسخة الـ29 من الحدث الآسيوي الكبير.
وجاء فوز الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم بجائزة أفضل اتحاد وطني في آسيا (الفئة البلاتينية) بعد منافسة مع الاتحادين الإيراني والياباني لكرة القدم.

The Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for their unlimited support for the sports sector, from which Saudi football continues to reap its fruits, including the Saudi Football Federation winning the award for Best National Federation in Asia (Platinum category) for the year 2025.
The President of the Saudi Federation extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Faisal, for his continuous efforts and interest in harnessing all resources and providing full support to the Saudi Football Federation, which had a significant impact on winning this continental award.
Al-Mashal affirmed that the Saudi Federation's victory of the Best National Federation in Asia (Platinum category) reflects the value of the Kingdom as a key hub for football in Asia.
The President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mashal, received the award during the AFC Awards ceremony held at the King Fahd Cultural Center in the capital, Riyadh, on Thursday evening, with the participation of a selection of sports personalities and stars in the 29th edition of this major Asian event.
The Saudi Football Federation won the award for Best National Federation in Asia (Platinum category) after competing with the Iranian and Japanese football federations.

- The youth team reached the final of the AFC U-17 Championship.
- Qualification for the World Cup finals for both the youth and junior teams.
