تُختتم مساء اليوم (الخميس) منافسات بطولة كأس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة الطائرة في نسختها الـ35، على صالة الأمير نايف بن عبدالعزيز الرياضية بمحافظة القطيف، بإقامة مباراتين تحددان المراكز الأربعة الأولى.
ويواجه فريق الاتحاد نظيره العُلا عند الساعة الثالثة عصرًا في مباراة لتحديد المركزين الثالث والرابع، تليها المباراة النهائية عند الساعة الخامسة مساءً، حيث يلتقي الهلال والأهلي في مواجهة جماهيرية مرتقبة لتحديد بطل البطولة.
وتتوج اليوم الفرق الفائزة وتوزيع الجوائز الفردية، وذلك بحضور رئيس الاتحاد السعودي لكرة الطائرة المكلّف وليد المقبل، وعدد من رؤساء الاتحادات الخليجية، وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة، ومسؤولي الأندية المشاركة.
وفي إطار التحديثات الفنية والتقنية التي يشهدها الاتحاد، سيشهد اليوم الختامي تطبيق نظام «Video Challenge» للمرة الأولى في تاريخ مسابقات الكرة الطائرة السعودية، حيث يُعد هذا النظام أداة مساعدة لحكام اللقاء في مراجعة اللقطات الحاسمة عبر تقنية الفيديو الفوري، بهدف تعزيز العدالة التحكيمية، ودعم قرارات الطاقم التحكيمي بدقة وشفافية، بما يعكس التقدم الذي يشهده الاتحاد على صعيد التنظيم والتقنية.
وكانت مباريات تحديد المراكز من الخامس إلى الثامن قد أُقيمت اليوم، حيث تغلّب النصر على الابتسام بثلاثة أشواط دون مقابل ليحل في المركز السابع، فيما جاء الابتسام ثامنًا، في حين فاز الفتح على الخويلدية بالنتيجة ذاتها ليحرز المركز الخامس، ويحل الخويلدية سادسًا.
The competitions of the 35th edition of the Saudi Federation Cup for Volleyball will conclude this evening (Thursday) at the Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Sports Hall in Qatif, with two matches determining the top four positions.
The Ittihad team will face their counterpart Al-Ula at 3 PM in a match to determine the third and fourth places, followed by the final match at 5 PM, where Al-Hilal will meet Al-Ahli in an anticipated public showdown to determine the champion of the tournament.
Today, the winning teams will be crowned, and individual awards will be distributed, in the presence of the acting president of the Saudi Volleyball Federation, Walid Al-Muqbil, along with several presidents of Gulf federations, board members, and officials from the participating clubs.
As part of the technical and technological updates being witnessed by the federation, the final day will see the implementation of the "Video Challenge" system for the first time in the history of Saudi volleyball competitions. This system is considered a supportive tool for referees to review critical moments through instant video technology, aiming to enhance refereeing fairness and support the refereeing crew's decisions with accuracy and transparency, reflecting the progress the federation is making in terms of organization and technology.
The matches to determine the fifth to eighth places were held today, where Al-Nasr defeated Al-Ibtisam three sets to none to secure seventh place, while Al-Ibtisam came in eighth. Meanwhile, Al-Fateh won against Al-Khuwailidiyah with the same result to claim fifth place, leaving Al-Khuwailidiyah in sixth.
