انطلقت مساء أمس (الأربعاء) على أرض «ANB أرينا» في العاصمة الرياض منافسات بطولة «Six Kings Slam 2025»، ضمن فعاليات «موسم الرياض»، وسط أجواء مبهرة بدأت بعرض هولوغرامي مميز جمع بين الإبداع البصري والتقنيات الحديثة، ليعلن انطلاق النسخة الثانية من البطولة التي تجمع ستة من أبرز نجوم التنس في العالم.
وشهد اليوم الافتتاحي إقامة مباراتين في دور ربع النهائي، وتغلّب الأمريكي تايلور فريتز على الألماني ألكسندر زفيريف بمجموعتين دون رد (6-3، 6-4)، في مواجهة أظهر خلالها فريتز تفوقه بالإرسال القوي والسيطرة على النقاط الحاسمة، ليضمن أول بطاقات التأهل إلى نصف النهائي.
وفي المباراة الثانية، قدّم الإيطالي يانيك سينر (حامل لقب النسخة الماضية) أداء رائعا أكد به جاهزيته للدفاع عن لقبه، بعدما فاز على اليوناني ستيفانوس تسيتسيباس بمجموعتين نظيفتين (6-2، 6-3)، ليكمل عقد المتأهلين إلى نصف النهائي المقرر إقامته اليوم (الخميس).
وتتواصل البطولة اليوم بمواجهتين مرتقبتين في نصف النهائي، تشهد دخول النجم الإسباني كارلوس ألكاراز والصربي نوفاك دجوكوفيتش إلى المنافسات، إذ يلتقي ألكاراز مع تايلور فريتز، فيما يواجه دجوكوفيتش نظيره يانيك سينر في مواجهة نارية تعيد ذكريات صداماتهما في كبرى البطولات العالمية.
