يخوض مدرب المنتخب السعودي رينارد اختباراً جديداً عندما يواجه المنتخب العراقي في ختام مباريات الملحق الآسيوي المؤهل لكأس العالم 2026 في (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، والمكسيك، وكندا)، ويسعى إلى تحقيق الانتصار الثامن له مع الأخضر، إذ عاد رينارد لقيادة منتخبنا الوطني خلفاً للإيطالي روبرتو مانشيني في أكتوبر من عام 2024.
وقاد الفرنسي رينارد المنتخب السعودي في 17 مباراة خلال الفترة الثانية حالياً مع الأخضر، وحقق منتخبنا الوطني 7 انتصارات، وتلقى 7 خسائر، وحقق 4 تعادلات.
وكان المدرب رينارد نجح في الفترة التدريبية الأولى بوصول المنتخب السعودي لكأس العالم 2022 في قطر، وحالياً يطمح في قيادة الأخضر للمرة الثانية لمونديال 2026.

The Saudi national team coach Renard faces a new test as he takes on the Iraqi national team in the final matches of the Asian playoff qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in (the United States, Mexico, and Canada). He aims to achieve his eighth victory with the Green, having returned to lead our national team following Italian Roberto Mancini in October 2024.
French coach Renard has led the Saudi national team in 17 matches during his current second term with the Green, achieving 7 victories, suffering 7 losses, and securing 4 draws.
Coach Renard succeeded in his first coaching period by leading the Saudi national team to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and he currently aspires to guide the Green to the World Cup for the second time in 2026.
