أعلن الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم، اليوم (الجمعة)، فرض غرامة مالية على نادي آرسنال قدرها 500 ألف جنيه إسترليني، بسبب مخالفته قواعد بيع التذاكر في مباراة الدور الثالث من النسخة الماضية لكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي، التي أقيمت على أرضه أمام مانشستر يونايتد.
وأوضح الاتحاد الإنجليزي في بيان أن آرسنال، الذي خسر المباراة بركلات الترجيح بعد التعادل 1-1 في 12 يناير الماضي، لم يوفّر العدد المطلوب من التذاكر لجماهير مانشستر يونايتد، البالغ 9 آلاف تذكرة.
وأضاف البيان: «تم تعليق تنفيذ الغرامة لحين تأكيد نادي آرسنال قدرته على الالتزام بهذا الشرط خلال الدور الثالث من كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي لموسم 2025-2026، واستمراره في الالتزام في الأدوار القادمة من البطولة».
ووفقاً لتقارير بريطانية، خصص النادي اللندني 8 آلاف تذكرة فقط لجماهير مانشستر يونايتد، بسبب مخاوف تتعلق بالسلامة، وهو ما يُعد مخالفة للوائح البطولة.
The English Football Association announced today (Friday) a financial penalty of £500,000 on Arsenal Football Club for violating ticket sale regulations during the third round of the last edition of the FA Cup, which was held at home against Manchester United.
The FA clarified in a statement that Arsenal, which lost the match on penalties after a 1-1 draw on January 12, failed to provide the required number of tickets for Manchester United fans, which was 9,000 tickets.
The statement added: "The implementation of the fine has been suspended pending confirmation from Arsenal that it can comply with this requirement during the third round of the FA Cup for the 2025-2026 season, and continue to comply in the subsequent rounds of the tournament."
According to British reports, the London club allocated only 8,000 tickets for Manchester United fans due to safety concerns, which is considered a violation of the tournament regulations.
