يفكّر نادي نوتنغهام فورست في إقالة مدربه البرتغالي نونو سانتو من منصبه، رغم البداية القوية للفريق في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بعد فوزه على برينتفورد بنتيجة 3-1 في الجولة الأولى.
وبحسب صحيفة «ماركا» الإسبانية، فإن إدارة نوتنغهام تدرس جدّياً قرار الإقالة، على خلفية انتقادات نونو لسياسة النادي في سوق الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية.
وكان سانتو قد صرّح لشبكة «سكاي سبورتس» قبل أسبوع قائلاً: «خططنا في الميركاتو الصيفي لم تنجح، وتحضيراتنا لم تكن مثالية، لا نعرف حتى الآن الشكل النهائي لتشكيلتنا، وهناك لاعبون يتدربون معنا وهم يعلمون أنهم سيرحلون على سبيل الإعارة، لدينا مشكلة كبيرة».
ويستعد نوتنغهام لمواجهة كريستال بالاس، الأحد المقبل، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
Nottingham Forest is considering sacking its Portuguese coach Nuno Santo from his position, despite the team's strong start in the Premier League after their 3-1 victory over Brentford in the first round.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Marca," Nottingham's management is seriously contemplating the decision to dismiss him, following Nuno's criticisms of the club's policy in the current summer transfer market.
Santo had stated to Sky Sports a week ago: "Our plans in the summer transfer market have not succeeded, and our preparations have not been ideal. We do not yet know the final shape of our squad, and there are players training with us who know they will be leaving on loan. We have a big problem."
Nottingham is preparing to face Crystal Palace next Sunday in the second round of the Premier League.
