تخصص المدربون البرتغاليون في تحقيق 8 ألقاب ببطولة السوبر السعودي منذ انطلاق المسابقة، إذ يُعتبر جوزيه مورايس أول مدرب يفوز بكأس السوبر، حين قاد فريق الشباب للتتويج باللقب بعد الفوز في النهائي على حساب فريق النصر بركلات الترجيح في 2015، يليه المدرب جوزيه جوميز بعد أن توج باللقب في 2017 مع فريق الأهلي على حساب فريق الهلال بضربات الترجيح.
كما يعد مدرب فريق النصر الحالي جورجي جيسوس أكثر المدربين تتويجا باللقب، حيث حققه في 3 مناسبات مع الهلال في 2018 و2023 و2024.
في حين نجح المدرب روي فيتوريا في قيادة فريق النصر لتحقيق اللقب بعد التفوق على التعاون في المباراة النهائية في عام 2020، واستطاع المدرب نونو سانتو تحقيق اللقب مع فريق الاتحاد في 2022 على حساب فريق الفيحاء.

Portuguese coaches have specialized in achieving 8 titles in the Saudi Super Cup since the competition began, with José Moraes being the first coach to win the Super Cup, leading Al-Shabab to the title after defeating Al-Nassr in the final via penalties in 2015. He was followed by coach José Gomes, who won the title in 2017 with Al-Ahli against Al-Hilal in a penalty shootout.
Current Al-Nassr coach Jorge Jesus is the most decorated coach in terms of this title, having won it on 3 occasions with Al-Hilal in 2018, 2023, and 2024.
Meanwhile, coach Rui Vitória succeeded in leading Al-Nassr to the title after overcoming Al-Taawoun in the final match in 2020, and coach Nuno Santo managed to win the title with Al-Ittihad in 2022 against Al-Faihah.
