حدد الاتحاد الإسباني لكرة القدم، اليوم الاثنين، موقفه تجاه طلب فريقي برشلونة وفياريال لخوض لقائهما في دوري الدرجة الأولى في ديسمبر القادم في مدينة ميامي بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
إذ أكد مجلس إدارة الاتحاد موافقته لإقامة مباراة الفريقين في الجولة 17 من الدوري على ملعب «هارد روك» في ميامي في 20 ديسمبر، وفي حالة إقامتها في ميامي فإنها ستكون أول مباراة في الدوري الإسباني عبر تاريخه تقام خارج حدود إسبانيا.
وبدأ الاتحاد الإسباني في السعي للحصول على التصاريح المطلوبة لإقامة اللقاء إذ يجب موافقة الاتحاد الأوروبي للعبة (اليويفا)، ومن ثم موافقة الاتحاد الدولي (الفيفا).
وقال الاتحاد في بيان: «إن مجلس الإدارة تلقى في اجتماعه في 11 أغسطس 2025 طلباً من ناديي فياريال وبرشلونة للعب مباراتهما في الجولة 17 من دوري الدرجة الأولى في الولايات المتحدة. وسيقدم الاتحاد الملكي الإسباني لكرة القدم الطلب إلى الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم لبدء عملية الحصول على تصريح لاحق من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) لإقامة المباراة على ملعب (هارد روك) في ميامي في 20 ديسمبر 2025».
وأوضح موقع «بارسا يونيفرسال»، أنه وبمجرد أن يمنح «يويفا» موافقته على الطلب، وإثر تحديد الموعد النهائي في 30 نوفمبر «21 يوماً قبل المباراة»، سيتعيَّن بعد ذلك إرسال الطلب إلى اتحادَي اللعبة في الولايات المتحدة وأمريكا الشمالية والوسطى والكاريبي «كونكاكاف» لاستكمال إجراءات الموافقة، وذلك بعد أن يطلع «فيفا» على كامل الإجراءات التي يجب أن تكون نظاميةً ومتوافقةً مع متطلباته.
وكانت «الليغا» حاولت مرَّتين رسميّاً تنظيم إحدى مبارياتها خارج الحدود، لكنْ دون جدوى. وجاءت الأولى سبتمبر 2018، وكانت المباراة بين فريقي برشلونة وجيرونا، لكنْ لويس روبياليس، رئيس الاتحاد المحلي آنذاك، استخدم حق النقض ضد المشروع لخلافاته مع تيباس، ولم يسمح مطلقاً بإحالة الاقتراح إلى «يويفا».
أمَّا المحاولة الثانية، فكانت في أكتوبر 2024 عندما أرسلت الرابطة طلباً جديداً لإجراء مباراة برشلونة وأتلتيكو مدريد في ميامي، 20 ديسمبر، لكنْ مجلس الاتحاد المحلي، ونظراً لوضعه المؤقت بعد استقالة روبياليس، عدَّ أن الوقت غير مناسبٍ للمشروع.
وكانت هناك محاولةٌ الموسم الماضي لتنظيم مواجهةٍ بين برشلونة وأتلتيكو مدريد في الولايات المتحدة، لكنَّها أُجهضت في مهدها سريعاً من أجل هيكلة المشروع بشكلٍ أفضل.

The Spanish Football Federation determined its position today, Monday, regarding the request from the teams Barcelona and Villarreal to play their match in the first division in December in Miami, United States.
The board of directors of the federation confirmed its approval to hold the match between the two teams in round 17 of the league at the "Hard Rock" stadium in Miami on December 20. If held in Miami, it will be the first match in the history of La Liga to take place outside the borders of Spain.
The Spanish federation has begun seeking the necessary permits to hold the match, as approval from the European Football Association (UEFA) is required, followed by approval from the International Football Association (FIFA).
The federation stated in a statement: "The board of directors received in its meeting on August 11, 2025, a request from the clubs Villarreal and Barcelona to play their match in round 17 of the first division in the United States. The Royal Spanish Football Federation will submit the request to UEFA to initiate the process of obtaining subsequent approval from FIFA to hold the match at the Hard Rock stadium in Miami on December 20, 2025."
According to the "Barça Universal" website, once UEFA grants its approval for the request, and after the deadline is set on November 30 "21 days before the match," the request will then need to be sent to the football federations in the United States and North and Central America and the Caribbean "CONCACAF" to complete the approval procedures, after FIFA reviews all the procedures that must be regular and compliant with its requirements.
La Liga had attempted twice officially to organize one of its matches outside the borders, but without success. The first attempt was in September 2018, when the match was between Barcelona and Girona, but Luis Rubiales, the then president of the local federation, used his veto against the project due to his disagreements with Tebas and never allowed the proposal to be referred to UEFA.
The second attempt was in October 2024 when the league sent a new request to hold the match between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid in Miami on December 20, but the local federation council, due to its temporary status after Rubiales' resignation, deemed that the timing was not suitable for the project.
There was an attempt last season to organize a match between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid in the United States, but it was quickly aborted to better structure the project.
