حقق أرسنال فوزاً صعباً على ضيفه بيرنلي بهدف دون رد، في المباراة التي أقيمت أمس (الإثنين) على ملعب «الإمارات»، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ37 (قبل الأخيرة) من بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي «بريميرليغ».
هافيرتز يسجل هدف الفوز
جاء هدف أرسنال في الدقيقة 37، بعد ركلة ركنية من الجبهة اليمنى نفذها بوكايو ساكا داخل منطقة الجزاء، ليقابلها كاي هافيرتز برأسية متقنة في الشباك.
وكان هافيرتز محظوظاً بتجنب البطاقة الحمراء في الشوط الثاني، عندما عرقل لاعب وسط بيرنلي، ليسلي أوجوتشوكو، بتدخل عنيف، لكن تقنية الفيديو أكدت قرار الحكم بمنحه البطاقة الصفراء.
أرسنال ينتظر تعثر السيتي
ويتصدر أرسنال جدول ترتيب «البريميرليغ» برصيد 82 نقطة، بفارق خمس نقاط عن مانشستر سيتي، وقد يحسم اللقب رسمياً حال تعثر مانشستر سيتي أمام بورنموث اليوم (الثلاثاء)، سواء بالتعادل أو الهزيمة.
وفي حال فوز مانشستر سيتي على بورنموث، سيتعين على أرسنال الفوز على كريستال بالاس (الأحد) القادم لحسم اللقب رسمياً، بعد غياب 22 عاماً.
في المقابل، تجمد رصيد بيرنلي، الذي هبط بالفعل إلى الدرجة الثانية، عند 21 نقطة في المركز الـ19 (قبل الأخير).
Arsenal achieved a hard-fought victory over their guest Burnley with a score of one goal to nil, in the match that took place yesterday (Monday) at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the 37th round (the penultimate) of the English Premier League.
Havertz Scores the Winning Goal
Arsenal's goal came in the 37th minute, following a corner kick from the right flank executed by Bukayo Saka into the penalty area, where Kai Havertz met it with a precise header into the net.
Havertz was fortunate to avoid a red card in the second half when he fouled Burnley midfielder, Leslie Ogochukwu, with a violent tackle, but the video technology confirmed the referee's decision to issue a yellow card.
Arsenal Awaits City's Slip
Arsenal tops the Premier League table with 82 points, five points ahead of Manchester City, and could officially clinch the title if Manchester City stumbles against Bournemouth today (Tuesday), either by drawing or losing.
If Manchester City wins against Bournemouth, Arsenal will need to win against Crystal Palace next Sunday to officially secure the title after a 22-year absence.
On the other hand, Burnley's tally, which has already been relegated to the second division, remains at 21 points in 19th place (second to last).
