تستضيف العاصمة المصرية القاهرة بطولة العالم للكاراتيه خلال الفترة من 27 إلى 30 نوفمبر الجاري، التي تنظمها وزارة الشباب والرياضة المصرية ممثلة في الاتحاد المصري للكاراتيه، بإستاد القاهرة الدولي.
وسيشارك في هذه البطولة العالمية التي تستمر لمدة 4 أيام نحو 88 دولة من مختلف قارات العالم.
وتُعدّ هذه البطولة أول نسخة تُنَظَّم بعد فصل بطولات العالم للكاراتيه إلى منافسات فردية وأخرى للفرق، في خطوة تهدف إلى تطوير مستوى المنافسة وتعزيز انتشار لعبة الكاراتيه عالمياً.
يُذكر أن استضافة مصر لهذا الحدث الرياضي العالمي تأتي بعد غياب 38 عاماً.
The Egyptian capital, Cairo, is hosting the World Karate Championship from November 27 to 30, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by the Egyptian Karate Federation, at the Cairo International Stadium.
About 88 countries from different continents will participate in this global championship, which lasts for 4 days.
This championship is the first edition organized after separating the world karate championships into individual competitions and team competitions, in a move aimed at enhancing the level of competition and promoting the spread of karate worldwide.
It is worth noting that Egypt's hosting of this global sporting event comes after a 38-year absence.
