أعلن الاتحاد الأنغولي لكرة القدم خوض منتخب بلاده الأول مواجهة ودية ضد الأرجنتين في شهر نوفمبر القادم.
وقال الاتحاد في بيان عبر صفحته على موقع «فيسبوك»: «سيخوض المنتخب الأنغولي مواجهة ودية تاريخية أمام الأرجنتين في 14 نوفمبر القادم على ملعب 11 نوفمبر، ضمن فعاليات الاحتفال بالذكرى الخمسين لاستقلال أنغولا».
وبحسب صحيفة «آس» الإسبانية، فإن استقدام نجوم بحجم ليونيل ميسي وجوليان ألفاريز ولاوتارو مارتينيز إلى أنغولا لم يكن بالأمر السهل، إذ دفعت الحكومة الأنغولية نحو 12 مليون يورو للاتحاد الأرجنتيني لكرة القدم مقابل حضور منتخب «التانغو» لخوض اللقاء الودي.
وأضافت أن هذه المباراة تعد حدثاً تاريخياً في بلد تُعد فيه كرة القدم شغفاً كبيراً ورياضة سريعة النمو تجذب حشوداً غفيرة.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن منتخبات وطنية أخرى، من بينها المغرب، كانت قد أبدت رغبتها في مواجهة بطل العالم 3 مرات خلال فترة التوقف الدولي، إلا أن العرض المالي الضخم من أنغولا حسم القرار لصالحها.
The Angolan Football Federation announced that the national team will play a friendly match against Argentina next November.
The federation stated in a post on its Facebook page: "The Angolan team will face Argentina in a historic friendly match on November 14 at the 11th of November Stadium, as part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Angola's independence."
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," bringing stars like Lionel Messi, Julián Álvarez, and Lautaro Martínez to Angola was not an easy task, as the Angolan government paid around 12 million euros to the Argentine Football Association for the presence of the "Tango" team in the friendly match.
It added that this match is considered a historic event in a country where football is a great passion and a rapidly growing sport that attracts large crowds.
The newspaper pointed out that other national teams, including Morocco, had expressed their desire to face the three-time world champion during the international break, but Angola's huge financial offer swayed the decision in its favor.
