أكد البرتغالي برونو فيرنانديز، نجم مانشستر يونايتد الإنجليزي، رفضه التام الدخول في مفاوضات حول مستقبله قبل كأس العالم 2026.
وقال فيرنانديز في تصريحات لصحيفة «ذا أثلتيك»، رداً على إمكانية مغادرته ناديه الإنجليزي: «تركيزي منصبّ بالكامل على مانشستر يونايتد، وكيل أعمالي يعرف أسلوبي في التعامل مع هذه الأمور».
مستقبل فيرنانديز بين الشائعات والمونديال
وأضاف: «إذا أراد وكيلي التحدث معي حول مستقبلي، سيكون ذلك بعد كأس العالم 2026. حتى ذلك الحين، لا أعتزم التحدث مع أي أحد بشأن هذا الموضوع».
وكان اسم النجم البرتغالي قد ارتبط بالانضمام إلى الهلال والاتحاد خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الماضية، إلا أن اللاعب قرر البقاء مع ناديه رغم تراجع نتائج مانشستر يونايتد في المواسم الأخيرة.
ويستمر عقد فيرنانديز مع مانشستر يونايتد حتى 2027، وتُقدر قيمته السوقية بـ45 مليون يورو، وفقاً لموقع «ترانسفير ماركت».
Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes, of Manchester United, has firmly rejected entering into negotiations about his future before the 2026 World Cup.
Fernandes stated in remarks to "The Athletic," in response to the possibility of leaving his English club: "My focus is entirely on Manchester United, and my agent knows my approach to dealing with these matters."
Fernandes' Future Between Rumors and the World Cup
He added: "If my agent wants to talk to me about my future, that will be after the 2026 World Cup. Until then, I do not intend to discuss this matter with anyone."
The Portuguese star's name had been linked to a move to Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad during the last summer transfer window, but the player decided to stay with his club despite Manchester United's declining results in recent seasons.
Fernandes' contract with Manchester United runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated at €45 million, according to "Transfermarkt."
