يخوض فريق الشارقة لقاء صعباً أمام ضيفه تراكتور الإيراني عند تمام الساعة السابعة من مساء غدٍ (الإثنين) على ستاد مدينة الشارقة، ضمن الجولة الثالثة من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2025-2026.
وكان فريق الشارقة فاز في الجولة الأولى على الغرافة 4-3 في الشارقة، ثم تعادل في الجولة الثانية مع السد 1-1 في الدوحة. في المقابل تعادل تراكتور في الجولة الأولى مع شباب الأهلي 1-1 في دبي، وتعادل في الجولة الثانية مع الوحدة 0-0 في تبريز.
ويدخل فريق الشارقة هذا اللقاء بطموح الفوز ولا غيره لاسيما أنه لم يتمكّن من تحقيق أي انتصار في المواجهتين السابقتين أمام الفريق الإيراني، حيث خسر في لقاء وتعادل في آخر، علماً أنّ تراكتور يُعدّ الفريق الوحيد الذي فشل الشارقة في التسجيل في مرماه على الصعيد القاري. ويعوّل الفريق الإماراتي على مهاجمه الألباني راي ماناي لقيادة خط الهجوم، بعدما سجّل هدفين في البطولة القارية هذا الموسم، في وقتٍ يحتاج فيه الفريق أيضاً إلى تحسين أدائه الدفاعي بعد تلقيه 4 أهداف في أول مباراتين.
أما تراكتور، فيدخل اللقاء بطموح تحقيق أول انتصار له بعد تعادلين متتاليين جعلاه يحتل المركز الثامن في جدول الترتيب عقب الجولة الثانية، ومع اقتصار التأهل إلى الدور التالي على أصحاب المراكز الثمانية الأولى، سيكون الفريق الإيراني مطالباً بجمع النقاط سريعاً للبقاء ضمن سباق المنافسة على بطاقات الدور ثمن النهائي، الذي يزداد تقارباً وإثارةً مع كل جولة.
