قاد الأسطورة الأرجنتينية ليونيل ميسي فريقه إنتر ميامي للفوز على فريق ناشفيل بنتيجة 5/ 2 في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على ملعب جيوديس بارك فجر اليوم الأحد ضمن لقاءات الدوري الأمريكي.
ورغم غزارة الأهداف إلا إن مسلسل التهديف بدأ في الدقيقة 34 عن طريق ميسي الذي استلم الكرة وراوغ المدافع بمهارة ومن ثم سدد كرة قوية لتسكن الشباك، ورغم تقدم إنتر ميامي بهذا الهدف إلا إن فريق ناشفيل تمكن من قلب النتيجة قبل نهاية الشوط الأول إذ أحرز سام سوريدج هدف التعادل (د: 43)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع ضاعف النتيجة زميله جاكوب شافلبيرج (د: 45+6).
وفي الشوط الثاني، انتفض فريق إنتر ميامي وأحرز 4 أهداف إذ تمكن ميسي من إدراك التعادل بإحرازه للهدف الشخصي الثاني له ولفريقه من ركلة جزاء (د: 63)، وبعد 4 دقائق فقط ضاعف زميله بالتارسار رودريغيز النتيجة بإحرازه للهدف الثالث (د: 67)، وجاءت الدقيقة 81 لتشهد الهدف الثالث لميسي (هاتريك) والرابع لفريقه، واختتم مسلسل الأهداف اللاعب تيلاسكو خوسيه (د: 90+1)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز إنتر ميامي بخمسة أهداف لهدفين.
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق انتر ميامي فوزه الـ 26 ويحتل المركز الثاني برصيد 65 نقطة، كما وصل ليونيل ميسي لهدفه رقم 29 محتلاً صدارة الهدافين ومتفوقاً على وصيفه سام سوريدج لاعب ناشفيل، الذي يملك 24 هدفاً.
