أعلن نادي يوفنتوس الإيطالي، أمس (الخميس)، خضوعه لتحقيق من قِبل الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم (يويفا)، بسبب انتهاكات محتملة لقواعد اللعب المالي النظيف.
وأوضح النادي في بيان أن «يويفا» أبلغه في 18 سبتمبر الماضي بفتح تحقيق بشأن مخالفات محتملة لقواعد الاستدامة المالية التابعة للاتحاد الأوروبي، المتعلقة بالفترة ما بين عامي 2022 و2025، مع توقع صدور القرار في ربيع العام القادم.
تهديد بعقوبات رياضية ومالية
وأضاف البيان أن النادي مُعرض لفرض قيود رياضية وعقوبات مالية محتملة من قبل الاتحاد القاري للعبة.
ووفقاً لقواعد اللعب المالي النظيف، يبلغ الحد الأقصى للخسائر التي يُسمح للأندية بتحمّلها 60 مليون يورو خلال فترة 3 سنوات، ويمكن أن يزيد هذا الحد بمقدار 10 ملايين يورو سنوياً، إذا استوفت الأندية 4 شروط يعتبرها «يويفا» مؤشرات على الاستقرار المالي الجيد.
The Italian club Juventus announced yesterday (Thursday) that it is undergoing an investigation by the European Football Association (UEFA) due to potential violations of financial fair play rules.
The club clarified in a statement that UEFA informed it on September 18 of last month about opening an investigation regarding possible violations of the financial sustainability rules of the European federation, related to the period between 2022 and 2025, with a decision expected in the spring of next year.
Threat of Sports and Financial Penalties
The statement added that the club is at risk of facing sports restrictions and potential financial penalties from the continental governing body of the game.
According to financial fair play rules, the maximum losses that clubs are allowed to incur is 60 million euros over a 3-year period, and this limit can increase by 10 million euros annually if clubs meet 4 conditions that UEFA considers indicators of good financial stability.
