تفوق منتخب ألمانيا على مضيفه إيرلندا الشمالية بهدف دون مقابل في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب ويندسور بارك في بلفاست ضمن لقاءات الجولة الرابعة من منافسات المجموعة الأولى في التصفيات الأوروبية المؤهلة لمونديال 2026.
وجاء هدف اللقاء الوحيد لمنتخب ألمانيا عن طريق نيك فولتيماده مهاجم نيوكاسل يونايتد الإنجليزي في الدقيقة 31.
وشهد اللقاء سيطرة مبكرة للمنتخب الألماني وكاد منتخب إيرلندا الشمالية يقلب موازين اللقاء بعد أن أحرز مدافعه دانييل بالارد هدفاً مبكراً في الدقيقة 15 ولكن راية التسلل كانت حاضرة، ليرد المنتخب الألماني بقوة، ومن ركلة زاوية نفذها ديفيد راوم عرضية عالية قفز لها فولتيماده لترتطم الكرة بكتفه وتتجه نحو الشباك الإيرلندية، وبعد محادثة الحكم مع حكام الفيديو أعلن احتساب الهدف (د:31)، واستمرت السيطرة لمنتخب ألمانيا إلى أن انتهى اللقاء لصالحه بهدف دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق المنتخب الألماني انتصاره الثالث ويرفع رصيده إلى 9 نقاط من 4 لقاءات، متفوقاً بفارق الأهداف عن منتخب سلوفاكيا الذي جاء ثانياً برصيد 9 نقاط أيضاً بعد فوزه على ضيفه لوكسمبورغ بهدفين دون مقابل، بينما تجمد رصيد إيرلندا الشمالية عند 6 نقاط في المركز الثالث.
وستقام الجولتان الأخيرتان لهذه المجموعة في نوفمبر القادم إذ يواجه المنتخب الألماني مضيفه لوكسمبورغ، ويستقبل منتخب سلوفاكيا نظيره إيرلندا الشمالية في الجولة الخامسة، وفي الجولة الأخيرة يلتقي المنتخب الألماني ضيفه سلوفاكيا، فيما يواجه منتخب إيرلندا الشمالية ضيفه منتخب لوكسمبورغ، وسيتأهل متصدر المجموعة إلى مونديال كأس العالم، فيما يخوض صاحب المركز الثاني منافسات الملحق.
