أعلن الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم أن المغرب سيستضيف ملحق التصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة لنهائيات كأس العالم الشهر القادم المؤلف من 4 منتخبات.
ويتأهل متصدرو المجموعات التسع بالتصفيات الأفريقية إلى النهائيات، التي ستقام في كندا والمكسيك والولايات المتحدة في يونيو القادم، ولكن هناك أيضاً فرصة لمكان إضافي محتمل لأحد أفضل 4 فرق تحتل المركز الثاني في التصفيات.
وستلعب المنتخبات الأربعة بطولة مصغرة في المغرب في نوفمبر القادم لتحديد منتخب واحد سيخوض الملحق العالمي في مارس القادم للحصول على مكان في الدور الأول المكون من 48 فريقاً في كأس العالم 2026.

The African Football Confederation announced that Morocco will host the African qualifying playoff for the World Cup next month, consisting of 4 teams.
The leaders of the nine groups in the African qualifiers will qualify for the finals, which will take place in Canada, Mexico, and the United States next June, but there is also a chance for an additional spot for one of the best 4 teams that finish second in the qualifiers.
The four teams will play a mini-tournament in Morocco next November to determine one team that will compete in the global playoff in March for a spot in the 48-team first round of the 2026 World Cup.
