تأهل منتخب غانا إلى نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة القدم 2026 بعد تغلّبه بهدف دون مقابل على ضيفه منتخب جزر القمر، أمس (الأحد)، في الجولة الأخيرة بالمجموعة التاسعة للتصفيات الأفريقية المؤهلة للمونديال.
ومن تمريرة عرضية من توماس بارتي تمكن محمد قدوس من إحراز هدف منتخب غانا الوحيد (د:47).
وبهذه النتيجة، يحقق منتخب غانا فوزه الثامن ويصل للنقطة 25 متصدراً منتخبات المجموعة العاشرة، فيما تلقى جزر القمر الخسارة الخامسة وتجمد رصيده عند 15 نقطة في المركز الرابع.
وبذلك يتأهل منتخب غانا للمونديال للمرة الخامسة في تاريخه (الثانية على التوالي) بعد أعوام 2006 و2010 (بلغت ربع النهائي) و2014 و2022، وانضم المنتخب الغاني إلى أربعة منتخبات أفريقية سبق لها أن حجزت بطاقتها إلى العرس الكروي هي المغرب وتونس والجزائر ومصر.

The Ghana national team qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating their guests, the Comoros national team, by one goal to nil yesterday (Sunday) in the final round of Group Nine of the African qualifiers for the World Cup.
From a cross by Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus managed to score the only goal for the Ghana national team (47th minute).
With this result, the Ghana national team achieves its eighth victory and reaches 25 points, topping the teams in Group Ten, while the Comoros suffered their fifth loss, remaining at 15 points in fourth place.
Thus, the Ghana national team qualifies for the World Cup for the fifth time in its history (the second consecutive time) after the years 2006, 2010 (reached the quarter-finals), 2014, and 2022. The Ghanaian team joins four other African teams that have previously secured their spots in the football festival: Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt.
