أكد الصحفي بشبكة سكاي سبورتس فابريزيو رومانو أن لاعب الوسط الهولندي فرينكي دي يونغ وافق على تجديد عقده مع نادي برشلونة الإسباني.
وكتب الصحفي الموثوق عبر حسابه على منصة إكس: «وافق دي يونغ على توقيع عقد جديد مع برشلونة يمتد حتى يونيو 2029»، مضيفاً أن الاتفاق تم شفهياً على جميع التفاصيل، ولا يتبقى سوى إتمام الخطوات الرسمية.
يُذكر أن العقد الحالي للنجم الهولندي ينتهي مع النادي الكتالوني بنهاية موسم الحالي (2025-2026)، ما يمنحه الحق في التفاوض للانتقال مجاناً إلى أي نادٍ آخر اعتباراً من يناير القادم، في حال عدم تجديد عقده قبل بداية العام الجديد.
وكان دي يونغ قد انضم إلى برشلونة صيف عام 2019 قادماً من أياكس أمستردام الهولندي، في صفقة قُدرت بنحو 86 مليون يورو.

ومنذ انضمامه إلى صفوف البلوغرانا، خاض دي يونغ 267 مباراة في مختلف المسابقات، سجل خلالها 19 هدفا، وقدم 24 تمريرة حاسمة، وساهم في تتويج فريقه بستة ألقاب محلية.

The reliable journalist wrote on his account on the X platform: "De Jong has agreed to sign a new contract with Barcelona that extends until June 2029," adding that the agreement has been verbally reached on all details, and only the official steps remain to be completed.
It is worth noting that the current contract of the Dutch star ends with the Catalan club at the end of the current season (2025-2026), which gives him the right to negotiate a free transfer to any other club starting from next January, if he does not renew his contract before the beginning of the new year.
De Jong joined Barcelona in the summer of 2019 from Ajax Amsterdam for a fee estimated at around 86 million euros.
