تفوق منتخب الأرجنتين على نظيره منتخب نيجيريا بأربعة أهداف دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على استاد سانتياغو ضمن لقاءات دور ثمن نهائي كأس العالم تحت 20 سنة المقامة في تشيلي، ليتأهل منتخب الأرجنتين لدور ربع النهائي، فيما غادر المنتخب النيجيري منافسات البطولة.
أحرز أهداف الأرجنتين أليخو ساركو (د:2) وماهر كاريزو (هدفين د:23، 53) وماتيو سيلفيتي (د:66).
افتتح المنتخب الأرجنتيني التسجيل سريعا بعد دقيقة واحدة فقط عبر أليخو ساركو الذي أودع الكرة في المرمى إثر تمريرة عرضية من ديلان غوروسيتو، وهو الهدف الأسرع حتى الآن في تشيلي 2025، وسط ارتباك واضح لحارس نيجيريا إبينيزار هاركورت، وأضاف ماهر كاريزو الهدف الثاني من ركلة حرة رائعة قبل نهاية الشوط الأول.
ومع بداية الشوط الثاني، عزز المنتخب الأرجنتيني تقدمه بهدف ثالث سجله كاريزو مجددا بعد تمريرة من ميلتون دلغادو، ثم اختتم ماتيو سيلفيتي رباعية فريقه بعد تمريرة من دانيال بامييزي، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز منتخب الأرجنتين بأربعة أهداف دون مقابل.
وبهذه النتيجة يتأهل المنتخب الأرجنتيني لدور ربع النهائي، وسيلاقي نظيره المنتخب المكسيكي فجر الأحد القادم.
