سلّطت شبكة «سكاي سبورتس» الضوء على الأسباب المحتملة وراء تراجع مستوى النجم المصري محمد صلاح مع ليفربول خلال الموسم الحالي، بعدما كان أحد أبرز المساهمين في تتويج الفريق بلقب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز الموسم الماضي.
وذكرت «سكاي» أن صلاح لم يسجّل أي هدف من لعب مفتوح في الدوري منذ الجولة الافتتاحية، كما تراجعت معظم مؤشراته الهجومية بشكل لافت، سواء على مستوى عدد الأهداف والمساهمات التهديفية، أو لمسات الكرة داخل منطقة الجزاء، وكذلك التسديدات وعدد الفرص المهدرة.
عامل السن واللياقة
وأشارت الشبكة إلى أن تقدّم صلاح في العمر قد يكون عاملاً مؤثراً، إذ سيبلغ 33 عاماً في يونيو القادم، وهو ما قد ينعكس على سرعته وقدرته على الحسم أمام المرمى.
لكن التقرير رجّح أن رحيل ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد عن صفوف «الريدز» مثّل ضربة أكبر لتأثير صلاح الهجومي. فالثنائي شكّل لسنوات نقطة قوة أساسية في خط هجوم ليفربول.
أرقام «أوبتا» تدعم الفرضية
واستشهد التقرير ببيانات «أوبتا» للإحصاءات، التي أوضحت أن أرنولد مرّر 147 كرة مؤثرة لصلاح في الموسم الماضي، متفوقاً بنسبة 36% على أقرب ثنائي هجومي آخر في الدوري الإنجليزي، والمكوّن من يوسكو غفارديول وجيريمي دوكو في مانشستر سيتي، حيث مرّر الأول 108 كرات لزميله.

Sky Sports highlighted the possible reasons behind the decline in the performance of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah with Liverpool during the current season, after he was one of the key contributors to the team's winning of the Premier League title last season.
Sky reported that Salah has not scored any goals from open play in the league since the opening round, and most of his attacking indicators have noticeably declined, whether in terms of the number of goals and goal contributions, touches in the penalty area, as well as shots and missed opportunities.
Age and Fitness Factor
The network indicated that Salah's advancing age could be a significant factor, as he will turn 33 next June, which may affect his speed and ability to finish in front of goal.
However, the report suggested that the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold from the ranks of the "Reds" represented a greater blow to Salah's attacking influence. The duo had formed a key strength in Liverpool's attacking line for years.

The report cited data from Opta Statistics, which showed that Arnold provided 147 key passes to Salah last season, outperforming the next closest attacking duo in the Premier League, consisting of Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku at Manchester City, where the former made 108 passes to his teammate.
