افتُتحت كأس العالم للشباب المقامة حالياً في تشيلي بلقاءين مثيرين، إذ انتصر منتخب أوكرانيا على كوريا الجنوبية بهدفين لهدف ضمن لقاءات المجموعة الأولى، فيما خسر ممثل العرب منتخب مصر من نظيره الياباني بهدفين دون مقابل ضمن لقاءات المجموعة الثانية.
على ملعب إلياس فيغيروا براندر، تفوق منتخب أوكرانيا على كوريا الجنوبية بهدفين لهدف، وشهد اللقاء تقدم أوكرانيا بهدفين نظيفين في الشوط الأول عن طريق جينادي سينشوك (د:16) وأولكسندر بيشور (د:16)، وقلص كوريا الجنوبية النتيجة في الشوط الثاني عن طريق ميونغ جون كيم (د:79)، ليحصد منتخب أوكرانيا أول 3 نقاط ويتصدر المجموعة الأولى، فيما بقي منتخب كوريا الجنوبية دون نقاط، وسيلعب منتخب أوكرانيا مباراته الثانية أمام بنما يوم الثلاثاء القادم، فيما يلعب منتخب كوريا الجنوبية مع باراغواي فجر يوم الأربعاء القادم.
وعلى ملعب سانتياغو، خسر منتخب مصر لقاءه أمام اليابان بهدفين دون مقابل، وشهد اللقاء تقدم اليابان عن طريق ريون اتشيهارا من ركلة جزاء (د:29)، ومن ثم أضاف زميله هيساتسوغو إتشي الهدف الثاني (د:48)، لينال منتخب اليابان النقاط الثلاث، فيما بقي منتخب مصر دون نقاط، وسيواجه منتخب مصر نظيره النيوزلندي يوم الثلاثاء القادم، فيما يلعب اليابان مع المستضيف منتخب تشيلي فجر الأربعاء القادم.

The Youth World Cup currently taking place in Chile kicked off with two thrilling matches, as the Ukrainian team defeated South Korea 2-1 in the first group matches, while the Arab representative, the Egyptian team, lost to their Japanese counterpart 2-0 in the second group matches.
At the Elías Figueroa Brander Stadium, Ukraine outperformed South Korea with a score of 2-1, with Ukraine taking a 2-0 lead in the first half through Henadiy Senchuk (16') and Oleksandr Pishchur (16'). South Korea reduced the deficit in the second half with a goal from Myung Jun Kim (79'), allowing Ukraine to secure their first 3 points and top Group A, while South Korea remained without points. Ukraine will play their second match against Panama next Tuesday, while South Korea will face Paraguay early Wednesday morning.
At the Santiago Stadium, Egypt lost their match against Japan 2-0, with Japan taking the lead through Ryuon Ichihara from a penalty (29'), followed by his teammate Hisatsugu Itchi adding the second goal (48'). Japan earned the three points, while Egypt remained without points. Egypt will face New Zealand next Tuesday, while Japan will play against the host team, Chile, early Wednesday morning.
