يرى الفرنسي تييري هنري، أسطورة نادي أرسنال، أن مواطنه عثمان ديمبيلي، لاعب باريس سان جيرمان، هو الأحق بالتتويج بجائزة الكرة الذهبية لعام 2025، عن جدارة واستحقاق.
وخلال ظهوره في برنامج رياضي على قناة «CBS»، طُلب من هنري وزميله المحلل جيمي كاراغر اختيار قائمة تضم 6 مرشحين مفضلين لنيل الجائزة.
كاراغر، مدافع ليفربول السابق، قدّم قائمته التي ضمّت: (عثمان ديمبيلي، لامين يامال، أشرف حكيمي، كيليان مبابي، رافينيا، ومحمد صلاح)؛ لكنه لم يُحدد مرشحاً أول للفوز بالجائزة.
أما هنري، فلم يتردد في التعبير عن رأيه، وقال ممازحاً كاراغر: «قائمتك مختلفة تماماً عن قائمتي».
اسم واحد يتكرر 6 مرات !
وفاجأ الفرنسي تييري هنري الحضور باختيار اسم عثمان ديمبيلي 6 مرات، تأكيداً على قناعته المطلقة بأحقيته في الفوز.
وعلّق هنري قائلاً: «يمكننا الحديث عن العديد من اللاعبين، لكن بالنسبة لي، هو الأفضل، أتذكر أنني قلت خلال مباراة مانشستر سيتي: إذا تمكّن من إنهاء الهجمات التي يبدأها، فسيكون الأفضل في العالم، وهذا ما حدث، أعتقد أنه سيتوّج بالكرة الذهبية، ولا جدال في ذلك».
The Frenchman Thierry Henry, a legend of Arsenal, believes that his compatriot Ousmane Dembélé, a player for Paris Saint-Germain, is the most deserving of winning the Ballon d'Or in 2025, rightfully and justly.
During his appearance on a sports program on the channel “CBS”, Henry and his fellow analyst Jamie Carragher were asked to choose a list of 6 preferred candidates for the award.
Carragher, the former Liverpool defender, presented his list which included: (Ousmane Dembélé, Lamine Yamal, Achraf Hakimi, Kylian Mbappé, Raphinha, and Mohamed Salah); however, he did not specify a top candidate for the award.
As for Henry, he did not hesitate to express his opinion, jokingly telling Carragher: “Your list is completely different from mine.”
One name repeated 6 times!
Frenchman Thierry Henry surprised the audience by choosing the name Ousmane Dembélé 6 times, affirming his absolute conviction of his deservingness to win.
Henry commented: “We can talk about many players, but for me, he is the best. I remember saying during the Manchester City match: if he can finish the attacks he starts, he will be the best in the world, and that’s what happened. I believe he will win the Ballon d'Or, and there’s no doubt about it.”
