قضت محكمة فرنسية بسجن رجل انتحل شخصية النجم الجزائري رياض محرز، لاعب الأهلي.
وبحسب صحيفة «ليكيب» الفرنسية، حُكم على رجل في الخمسين من عمره بالسجن لمدة عام مع دفع تعويض قدره 5000 يورو لرياض محرز، منها 2000 تعويضاً عن الأضرار النفسية التي لحقته، كما تم منعه من التواصل مع الأشخاص المعنيين بالقضية، بعد أن انتحل شخصية النجم الجزائري.
وقام المحتال الذي يعمل مديراً في أحد فروع سلسلة مطاعم «ماكدونالدز»، بطلب تذاكر لحفل بيونسيه من الممثلة الفرنسية صاحبة الأصول الجزائرية ليلى بختي، حيث وقعت الحادثة في إطار عملية احتيال استمرت لأكثر من عام.
كما كشف التحقيق أنه في وقت لاحق، حاول الرجل التواصل مع المدير العام للمكتب الفرنسي للهجرة والاندماج (OFII)، ديديه ليشكي، طالباً مساعدته في تسريع إصدار تأشيرة لصديق له.
ووجد محرز نفسه مضطراً لتوضيح الموقف مراراً وتكراراً، بعد أن أثار هذا الاحتيال الشكوك حول علاقته بالأحداث. وقال محاميه: «لقد تسببت محاولة التلاعب في أضرار نفسية له، وكان من الممكن أن يتعرض لملاحقات قانونية نتيجة لهذا الاحتيال».
A French court sentenced a man who impersonated Algerian star Riyad Mahrez, a player for Al Ahly, to prison.
According to the French newspaper "L'Équipe," a man in his fifties was sentenced to one year in prison and ordered to pay 5,000 euros in compensation to Riyad Mahrez, including 2,000 euros for the psychological harm he suffered. He was also banned from contacting the individuals involved in the case after he impersonated the Algerian star.
The fraudster, who works as a manager at one of the branches of the "McDonald's" restaurant chain, requested tickets for a Beyoncé concert from French actress Leïla Bekhti, who has Algerian roots. The incident occurred as part of a fraudulent scheme that lasted over a year.
The investigation also revealed that later on, the man attempted to contact the general director of the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII), Didier Leschi, asking for his help in expediting a visa for a friend.
Mahrez found himself having to clarify the situation repeatedly after this fraud raised suspicions about his involvement in the events. His lawyer stated, "The attempt to manipulate caused him psychological harm, and he could have faced legal repercussions as a result of this fraud."
