اعترف لاعب ليفربول الإنجليزي النجم المصري محمد صلاح، بصعوبة التأقلم مع زميله الجديد هوغو إيكيتيكي، بعد خوض 4 مباريات مع الفريق في الموسم الجديد.
وقال صلاح خلال حديثه في بودكاست «Men In Blazers»: «حتى الآن، لم أتمكن من التأقلم مع هوغو في الملعب كما كان الحال مع داروين نونيز أو لويس دياز أو الراحل ديوغو جوتا. كنت أعرف أسلوب لعبهم جيداً، ولكن الأمر مع هوغو مختلف».
وأضاف صلاح: «أحياناً أحتاج إلى أن يمرر هوغو الكرة أمامي مباشرة، وأحياناً أخرى في المساحات، نحن نحاول التأقلم معاً من خلال التدريبات ومقاطع الفيديو التي يعرضها علينا المدرب، سأجد الطريقة المناسبة لذلك قريباً، لأن ذلك سيساعدني في تحسين أدائي أيضاً».
وحول سبب بكائه بعد مباراة بورنموث في الدوري الإنجليزي هذا الموسم، أوضح صلاح: «كان الأمر صعباً للغاية بالنسبة لي، لأنني لم أكن مُهيأ نفسياً لذلك، عادةً ما أصفق للجماهير بعد المباراة لأشكرهم على حضورهم، لكن عندما وقفت أمام مدرجات الكوب، بدأوا في الغناء لديوغو جوتا».
وختم: «غمرني الحزن وفكرت في جوتا، العديد من المشجعين في «كوب» يعبرون عن مشاعرهم بحرية، وعندها تبدأ في الانهيار قليلاً».
The Egyptian star and Liverpool player Mohamed Salah admitted the difficulty of adapting to his new teammate Hugo Ekitike after playing 4 matches with the team in the new season.
Salah said during his talk on the "Men In Blazers" podcast: "So far, I haven't been able to adapt to Hugo on the pitch as I did with Darwin Núñez or Luis Díaz or the late Diogo Jota. I knew their playing styles well, but with Hugo, it's different."
He added: "Sometimes I need Hugo to pass the ball directly in front of me, and other times in spaces. We are trying to adapt together through training and the videos the coach shows us. I will find the right way to do that soon, as it will also help me improve my performance."
Regarding the reason for his tears after the Bournemouth match in the Premier League this season, Salah explained: "It was very difficult for me because I wasn't mentally prepared for it. I usually applaud the fans after the match to thank them for their attendance, but when I stood in front of the Kop stands, they started singing for Diogo Jota."
He concluded: "I was overwhelmed with sadness and thought about Jota. Many fans in the Kop express their feelings freely, and at that moment, you start to break down a little."
