أعلن نادي يونايتد الذي ينافس في دوري الدرجة الأولى الإماراتي، اليوم (الجمعة)، تعاقده مع الإيطالي أندريا بيرلو لتدريب الفريق، الموسم القادم.
وقال النادي الإماراتي في بيان: «يسعد نادي يونايتد أن يعلن رسمياً عن تعيين أندريا بيرلو مدرباً جديداً للفريق الأول».
وأضاف البيان: «بيرلو، الفائز بكأس العالم عام 2006، وأحد أبرز لاعبي خط الوسط في جيله، يتمتع برؤية كروية فريدة وخبرة تدريبية قيّمة اكتسبها من تجاربه مع يوفنتوس وسامبدوريا، ويمثل انضمامه فصلاً جديداً ومثيراً لنادي يونايتد، ويعكس طموح النادي المتنامي في المشهد الكروي الإماراتي».
وتابع: «وصل بيرلو بالفعل إلى دبي، وسيبدأ العمل مع الفريق في الأيام القادمة مع بدء الاستعدادات للموسم الجديد».
من جانبه قال رئيس النادي إيلي سيبانو: «نفخر بانضمام أندريا إلى عائلة نادي يونايتد، فهو يُجسّد قيم وطموحات نادينا، ونؤمن بأنه سيكون ركيزةً أساسيةً في الارتقاء بنا إلى آفاقٍ جديدة».
United Club, which competes in the UAE First Division League, announced today (Friday) the signing of Italian Andrea Pirlo to coach the team for the upcoming season.
The Emirati club stated in a statement: "United Club is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Andrea Pirlo as the new head coach of the first team."
The statement added: "Pirlo, the winner of the World Cup in 2006 and one of the most prominent midfielders of his generation, possesses a unique football vision and valuable coaching experience gained from his stints with Juventus and Sampdoria. His joining represents an exciting new chapter for United Club and reflects the club's growing ambitions in the Emirati football scene."
It continued: "Pirlo has already arrived in Dubai and will begin working with the team in the coming days as preparations for the new season commence."
For his part, club president Eli Sibano said: "We are proud to welcome Andrea to the United Club family, as he embodies the values and ambitions of our club, and we believe he will be a key pillar in elevating us to new heights."
