في ذات اليوم الذي يصادف الذكرى السنوية الأولى لانضمام النجم الفرنسي كيليان مبابي إلى ريال مدريد، وجد الأسطورة الفرنسية نفسه أمام تحدٍ قضائي جديد، وفقاً لما ذكرته صحيفة (لو كانار إنشيني) التي نشرت تقريراً صحافياً أفادت من خلاله أن مبابي يخضع لتحقيق إداري يٌدين شبهات تخص اللاعب متعلقة بقضية غسل أموال، بسبب دفعه مبلغاً مالياً ضخماً لبعض من أفراد الشرطة الفرنسية.
وتعود القصة إلى عام 2023 حيث تلقى خمسة ضباط من جهاز المخابرات العامة، كانوا مُكلفين بحماية لاعبي المنتخب الفرنسي، مبالغ مالية كبيرة في عام 2023 من حساب مصرفي يحمل اسم كيليان مبابي.
وأفادت التقارير أن 4 من الضباط الـ 5 تلقوا 30 ألف يورو لكل منهم، بينما تلقى الأخير (القائد المشرف على الضباط الأربعة) 60300 يورو، وهو الأمر الذي أثار علامات الاستفهام حول اللاعب والضباط.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى اطلاعها على بيان موقع من قبل كيليان مبابي يؤكد من خلاله أن المبلغ الذي دفعه للضباط كان عبارة عن تبرع شخصي من المكافآت التي تحصل عليها إثر المشاركة مع منتخب بلاده في كأس العالم 2022 في قطر.
وكان الأمر قد زاد غرابة وأثار الشكوك بشكل أكبر نظراً لأن أحد الضباط الذين تلقوا المبالغ المالية سبق له أن ظهر مع مبابي في رحلة خاصة في الكاميرون صيف 2023.

On the same day that marks the first anniversary of French star Kylian Mbappé's joining Real Madrid, the French legend found himself facing a new judicial challenge, according to a report by the newspaper (Le Canard Enchaîné), which stated that Mbappé is under an administrative investigation concerning suspicions related to money laundering, due to a substantial payment made to some members of the French police.
The story dates back to 2023 when five officers from the General Intelligence Service, who were tasked with protecting the French national team players, received large sums of money in 2023 from a bank account bearing Kylian Mbappé's name.
Reports indicated that 4 of the 5 officers received €30,000 each, while the last one (the supervisor of the four officers) received €60,300, raising questions about the player and the officers.
The newspaper noted that it had seen a statement signed by Kylian Mbappé in which he confirmed that the amount he paid to the officers was a personal donation from the bonuses he received for participating with his national team in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The situation became even stranger and raised more suspicions, as one of the officers who received the financial amounts had previously appeared with Mbappé on a private trip to Cameroon in the summer of 2023.
