أعلن نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي عن تنظيم مراسم تكريم لنجمه الراحل ديوغو جوتا، وشقيقه أندريه، قبل مباراة الفريق الودية ضد بريستون نورث إند، الأحد القادم.
وكان جوتا، البالغ من العمر 28 عامًا، قد توفي مع شقيقه أندريه في حادثة سير مأساوية وقعت في مقاطعة زامورا، شمال غرب إسبانيا، الأسبوع الماضي.
وأوضح النادي الإنجليزي في بيان عبر موقعه الرسمي، أنه سيتم تكريم جوتا وشقيقه أندريه بإقامة عدد من الفعاليات قبل مواجهة بريستون، تبدأ بعزف نشيد نادي ليفربول «لن تمشي وحدك أبدًا»، وسيضع النادي المضيف إكليلاً من الزهور بجانب مشجعي الفريق الضيف.
وأضاف أن الفريقين سيقفان دقيقة صمت حداداً على ديوغو وأندريه، كما سيتم عرض التعازي الرقمية على الشاشات الموجودة في الملعب، بجانب ارتداء طرفي اللقاء شارات سوداء.
كما أنشأ بريستون نسخة تذكارية من برنامج يوم المباراة، تتضمن تكريمات مكتوبة لديوغو وأندريه، وسيبدأ بث برنامج ما قبل المباراة مباشرة من الملعب عبر قنوات ليفربول على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي ويوتيوب حتى بداية المباراة، عندما تدخل قيود الحقوق حيز التنفيذ.
The English club Liverpool announced the organization of a tribute ceremony for their late star Diogo Jota and his brother André, before the team's friendly match against Preston North End next Sunday.
Jota, who was 28 years old, tragically passed away along with his brother André in a car accident that occurred in the province of Zamora, northwest Spain, last week.
The English club clarified in a statement on its official website that Jota and his brother André will be honored with a number of events before the match against Preston, starting with the playing of Liverpool's anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone." The host club will lay a wreath alongside the visiting team's supporters.
It added that both teams will observe a minute of silence in memory of Diogo and André, and digital condolences will be displayed on the screens in the stadium, in addition to both sides wearing black armbands.
Preston has also created a commemorative version of the matchday program, which includes written tributes to Diogo and André. The pre-match program will be broadcast live from the stadium on Liverpool's social media channels and YouTube until the start of the match, when copyright restrictions come into effect.
