أعلن قائد المنتخب المغربي نجم نادي الشباب عبد الرزاق حمد الله اعتزاله اللعب دولياً، عقب قيادته منتخب المغرب للتتويج بلقب بطولة كأس العرب 2025، التي أُقيمت في قطر.
وسجل حمد الله هدفين في فوز المنتخب المغربي على نظيره الأردني بنتيجة 3-2، في المباراة النهائية التي أُقيمت مساء الخميس على ملعب «لوسيل».
فرحة اللقب تختلط بقرار الاعتزال
وقال حمد الله عقب التتويج باللقب العربي: «مباراة الأردن كانت الأخيرة لي مع المنتخب المغربي، وأنا سعيد جداً بهذا اللقب الذي جاء بعد سنوات عجاف كنت أتمنى خلالها تمثيل المنتخب وتقديم الإضافة».
وأضاف مهاجم أسود الأطلس: «للأسف، عودتي إلى المنتخب المغربي جاءت متأخرة، لكن الأهم أنها تحققت في النهاية».
وبحسب موقع «ماركت»، خاض عبد الرزاق حمد الله 28 مباراة دولية بقميص المنتخب المغربي الأول، سجل خلالها 8 أهداف، وكانت مشاركته الدولية الأولى في 29 فبراير 2012.
The captain of the Moroccan national team and star of Al-Shabab club, Abderrazak Hamdallah, announced his retirement from international play after leading the Moroccan team to win the title of the 2025 Arab Cup, which was held in Qatar.
Hamdallah scored two goals in Morocco's 3-2 victory over Jordan in the final match held on Thursday evening at the "Lusail" stadium.
The Joy of the Title Mixed with the Retirement Decision
Hamdallah said after winning the Arab title: "The match against Jordan was my last with the Moroccan national team, and I am very happy with this title that came after many barren years during which I wished to represent the national team and make a contribution."
The Atlas Lions striker added: "Unfortunately, my return to the Moroccan national team came late, but the important thing is that it happened in the end."
According to the "Market" website, Abderrazak Hamdallah played 28 international matches wearing the Moroccan national team jersey, during which he scored 8 goals, with his first international appearance on February 29, 2012.
