الزمالك يغرق في الديون.. إيقاف القيد للمرة السابعة

The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced the suspension of the registration of the first football team of Egypt's Zamalek Club for the seventh time.

The official FIFA website clarified that the suspension decision extends for three registration periods, without revealing the identity of the party that filed the complaint in dispute. Meanwhile, press reports indicated that the decision was due to the failure to pay the first installment of the deal for Angolan player Chikopanza in favor of the Portuguese club Estrela da Amadora.

Conditions for Lifting the Sanction

FIFA requires reaching a financial settlement with the affected parties, either through immediate payment of dues or agreeing on a payment schedule, in order to officially lift the registration suspension.

Zamalek Drowns in Debt

Zamalek Club is suffering from a severe financial crisis, which worsened after the Egyptian Ministry of Housing's decision to withdraw the club's land in the Sixth of October City, designated for the establishment of a new branch, on the grounds of "lack of seriousness in execution."

The Vice President of Zamalek Club, Hisham Al-Nasr, stated last month that the total debts of the White Castle have reached approximately 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds.
