تفوق أردني منذ البداية
بدأ «النشامى» المباراة بقوة، وأنهى الشوط الأول متقدماً بهدف سجله مهند أبو طه في الدقيقة 17.
ومع بداية الشوط الثاني، عزز سعد أحمد الروسان النتيجة بهدف ثانٍ في الدقيقة 49، قبل أن ينجح يوسف ناصر في تقليص الفارق لصالح الكويت عند الدقيقة 84.
حسم أردني في الوقت بدل الضائع
وفي اللحظات الأخيرة، أضاف علي علوان الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة 90+7، ليؤكد تأهل الأردن ويصبح ثاني المنتخبات الضامنة لبلوغ ربع النهائي بعد المنتخب السعودي.
ترتيب المجموعة الثالثة
بهذه النتيجة، رفع الأردن رصيده إلى ستّ نقاط في صدارة المجموعة الثالثة، متقدماً بفارق خمس نقاط عن كل من الكويت ومصر، بينما يوجد المنتخب الإماراتي في المركز الرابع دون رصيد.
وفي وقت لاحق من مساء اليوم، يلتقي منتخبا مصر والإمارات في مواجهة مهمة يسعى خلالها كل منهما لانتزاع النقاط الثلاث وحجز المركز الثاني قبل الجولة الختامية.
The Jordan national team secured its place in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup held in Qatar, after achieving a valuable victory over its Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of three goals to one, today (Saturday), at the "Ahmed bin Ali" stadium, as part of the second round of the group stage.
Jordanian Dominance from the Start
The "Nashama" started the match strongly, ending the first half with a lead thanks to a goal scored by Muhannad Abu Taha in the 17th minute.
At the beginning of the second half, Saad Ahmed Al-Rousan doubled the score with a second goal in the 49th minute, before Youssef Nasser managed to reduce the deficit for Kuwait in the 84th minute.
Jordanian Resolution in Injury Time
In the final moments, Ali Alwan added the third goal in the 90+7 minute, confirming Jordan's qualification and making it the second team to secure a spot in the quarter-finals after the Saudi team.
Group C Standings
With this result, Jordan raised its tally to six points at the top of Group C, leading by five points over both Kuwait and Egypt, while the UAE team is in fourth place with no points.
Later this evening, the teams of Egypt and the UAE will meet in an important match where each team seeks to grab the three points and secure second place before the final round.
