عمّ الحزن الوسط التقني والاقتصادي في الأردن بعد وفاة الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة «إي ستارتا» لتقنية المعلومات والاتصالات الدكتور معتز حمدالله النابلسي وزوجته وابنتهما في حادثة مأساوية ناجمة عن تسرب غاز التدفئة داخل فيلا سكنوا فيها حديثاً بمنطقة دابوق في العاصمة عمان.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم مديرية الأمن العام الأردنية أن كوادر الدفاع المدني والإسعاف تعاملت مع الحادثة فور وقوعها أمس (الجمعة)، مؤكداً وفاة ثلاثة أشخاص وإصابة شخص آخر بضيق في التنفس. وقدمت الفرق الطبية الإسعافات الأولية قبل نقل المصاب لتلقي العلاج. ولا تزال التحقيقات مستمرة لمعرفة السبب الدقيق لتسرب الغاز.
وكانت العائلة قد انتقلت للسكن في الفيلا الجديدة قبل وقت قصير، ليحوّل «الغاز القاتل» حلم الاستقرار إلى مأساة مفاجئة، مودياً بحياة قائد بارز في قطاع التقنية وزوجته وابنتهما.
ونعى أقاربه وزملاؤه في موقع «رقمنة» النابلسي، مشيرين إلى دوره القيادي البارز في قطاع التقنية وعضويته السابقة في مجلس إدارة جمعية «إنتاج».
وفي سياق متصل، جدّدت مديرية الأمن العام الأردنية تأكيد ضرورة الالتزام بإرشادات السلامة خلال موسم الشتاء لتجنب مثل هذه الحوادث، ومنها تفقد خراطيم الغاز، واستبدال مانع التسرب، والصيانة الدورية للمدافئ، والحفاظ على التهوية المناسبة، وعدم تشغيل المدافئ أثناء النوم.
The technical and economic community in Jordan is engulfed in sadness following the tragic death of the CEO of "E Starta" for Information and Communications Technology, Dr. Moataz Hamdallah Al-Nabulsi, along with his wife and their daughter in a tragic incident caused by a heating gas leak inside the villa they had recently moved into in the Dabouq area of the capital, Amman.
The spokesperson for the Jordanian Public Security Directorate clarified that civil defense and ambulance teams responded to the incident immediately after it occurred yesterday (Friday), confirming the death of three individuals and the injury of another person who suffered from breathing difficulties. Medical teams provided first aid before transferring the injured person for treatment. Investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the gas leak.
The family had moved into the new villa shortly before, only for the "killer gas" to turn their dream of stability into a sudden tragedy, claiming the lives of a prominent leader in the technology sector, his wife, and their daughter.
His relatives and colleagues at the "Digitization" site mourned Al-Nabulsi, highlighting his prominent leadership role in the technology sector and his previous membership on the board of the "Intaj" Association.
In a related context, the Jordanian Public Security Directorate reiterated the importance of adhering to safety guidelines during the winter season to avoid such incidents, including checking gas hoses, replacing seals, conducting regular maintenance of heaters, ensuring proper ventilation, and not operating heaters while sleeping.
