هاشم حيدر رئيساً للاتحاد اللبناني لكرة القدم لولاية سابعة حتى 2029

The executive committee of the Lebanese Football Federation has renewed its trust in Hashim Haidar as president of the federation, for a seventh consecutive term, after he was re-elected unopposed, allowing him to continue in his position until 2029.

Haidar, who is 66 years old, has held the presidency of the federation since 2001, maintaining his position for 24 years, mostly through acclamation, except for the 2021 elections which saw competition from former international player Moussa Hajji.

At the continental level, Haidar continues to perform his duties as vice president of the Asian Football Confederation, in addition to chairing the reform committee responsible for updating the federation's systems to keep pace with the development of Asian football and enhance its governance.
