حذرت وزارة التعليم ومجلس شؤون الجامعات السعودية من بعض الجهات التي تدعي الارتباط أو التعاون مع جامعات ومؤسسات تعليمية خارجية دون استكمال المتطلبات النظامية والحصول على التراخيص من الجهات المختصة. وحثت الوزارة والمجلس على ضرورة التحقق من الوضع النظامي لأي مؤسسة أو جهة تدعي تقديم برامج أكاديمية أو مؤهلات تعليمية قبل التعامل معها أو الالتحاق بها، كما شددا على أهمية الرجوع إلى القنوات الرسمية المعتمدة للتحقق من نظامية المؤسسات التعليمية واعتماداتها الأكاديمية، وأشارا إلى أن الالتحاق بجهات غير مرخصة أو الحصول على مؤهلات صادرة عنها قد يترتب عليه عدم الاعتراف بتلك المؤهلات أو معادلتها داخل المملكة.
وأكدت وزارة التعليم ومجلس شؤون الجامعات أن المعلومات المتعلقة بالجامعات والمؤسسات التعليمية المرخص لها، إضافة إلى قوائم الجامعات الموصى بالدراسة فيها بالخارج متاحة عبر المنصات الرسمية بما يمكّن الراغبين في الدراسة من التحقق من نظامية أي جهة تعليمية قبل اتخاذ قرار الالتحاق. وأكدت وزارة التعليم ومجلس شؤون الجامعات أن ما يصدر عن الجهات المختصة من معلومات وقرارات وتعليمات يمثل المرجع الرسمي والوحيد عند تقييم مؤسسات التعليم العالي وبرامجها ومؤهلاتها الأكاديمية، وأوصيا الجميع بالتحقق من الاعتمادات الأكاديمية ومتطلبات الاعتراف والمعادلة من خلال القنوات الرسمية المعتمدة قبل الشروع في أي برنامج تعليمي. وجددت الجهتان التزامهما بمتابعة كل ما من شأنه الحفاظ على جودة التعليم وصون حقوق المستفيدين، بما ينسجم مع الأنظمة والتعليمات المعمول بها في السعودية.
The Ministry of Education and the Council of Universities Affairs in Saudi Arabia have warned against certain entities that claim to be affiliated with or collaborating with foreign universities and educational institutions without completing the regulatory requirements and obtaining the necessary licenses from the relevant authorities. The ministry and the council urged the necessity of verifying the legal status of any institution or entity that claims to offer academic programs or educational qualifications before engaging with them or enrolling in their programs. They emphasized the importance of referring to the official accredited channels to verify the legality of educational institutions and their academic accreditations, and they pointed out that enrolling in unlicensed entities or obtaining qualifications issued by them may result in those qualifications not being recognized or equated within the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Education and the Council of Universities Affairs confirmed that information related to licensed universities and educational institutions, in addition to lists of recommended universities for studying abroad, is available through official platforms, enabling those wishing to study to verify the legality of any educational entity before making a decision to enroll. The Ministry of Education and the Council of Universities Affairs stated that the information, decisions, and instructions issued by the relevant authorities represent the official and sole reference when evaluating higher education institutions, their programs, and their academic qualifications. They advised everyone to verify academic accreditations and recognition and equivalency requirements through the official accredited channels before embarking on any educational program. Both entities renewed their commitment to monitoring everything that would preserve the quality of education and protect the rights of beneficiaries, in line with the regulations and instructions in force in Saudi Arabia.
