Two Yemeni leaders considered the battlefield developments taking place on the fronts of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation as the beginning of a new phase in the battle to restore the state. They emphasized in statements to "Okaz" the importance of unifying ranks and enhancing support for the armed forces until the liberation of Yemeni territories and the establishment of security and stability.
The advisor to the commander of the Third Division in the Yemeni Emergency Forces and advisor to the Tribal Affairs Authority, Brigadier General Ammar Saleh Al-Tam, stated that the liberation of Bab al-Mandab, the city of Dhubab, its airport, and the island of Meyun, along with the advance towards Al-Waziyah, coinciding with movements on the southern and western fronts of Marib, represent indicators of the launch of a new phase in confronting the Houthi militia and restoring state institutions. He added that the announcement by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, to begin the battle for the complete liberation of Yemeni geography places the confrontation within its national framework as a battle to restore the state and its institutions, pointing to the importance of addressing the battlefield situation in the fronts of Taiz, especially the districts of Al-Hujariyah, to enhance progress and limit opportunities for exploitation to influence the course of battles.
Al-Tam praised the supportive Saudi stance for the Yemeni legitimacy, affirming that the restoration of the state represents, as he described it, a guarantee for the security of Yemen, the Kingdom, and the region, as well as for the security of the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and international navigation. He stressed that field victories should continue within a framework aimed at restoring the capital, Sana'a, ending the coup, and rebuilding state institutions on the foundations of the republic and law.
He confirmed that the Yemeni tribes will remain a support for the state and the armed forces, calling for the unification of ranks, raising readiness, and mobilizing national, tribal, and community energies to support the liberation battle.
For his part, the Director General of the Tribal Affairs Authority in Wadi and Desert of Hadramout, Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al-Tamimi, stated that the Yemeni armed forces, the National Shield Brigades, and the Southern Giants, with the support of the tribes, are presenting what he described as images of steadfastness and resilience on various fronts, in the face of the Houthi militia and in restoring state institutions.
He pointed to the ongoing movements on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, and the western coast, affirming that the cohesion of the armed forces, tribes, and national forces represents the path towards restoring the state and establishing security and stability. He noted the position of the Hadrami tribes, stating that they stand by the state and its institutions and reject the militia project and the coup. He confirmed that what the fronts are witnessing in terms of steadfastness and progress reflects the will of the Yemenis to restore state institutions and liberate the land, leading to the establishment of a secure and stable Yemen governed by the rule of law.
