التحالف: «الحوثي» هجّر اليمنيين قسرا.. وسنردع محاولته الاعتداء على مكة والمدينة
The official spokesperson for the coalition forces (the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen), Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the leadership of the coalition's joint forces continues to provide full operational support to the Yemeni armed forces and remains steadfast with the legitimate Yemeni government and the brotherly Yemeni people to end the coup and restore the state and its national institutions to build a future
for Yemen.
Major General Al-Maliki explained that the actions of the terrorist Houthi militia, including ongoing terrorist attacks and repeated practices against the brotherly Yemeni people, such as internal sieges, forced displacement of citizens from their cities and villages, starvation, looting, and dividing their resources to serve what they call the war effort, as well as the abuse of tribal leaders and members, tearing apart the social fabric of Yemeni society in all its segments, terrorizing women, and recruiting children for their criminal project, are nothing but flagrant violations that have brought suffering and calamity to Yemenis for many years.
He added that the terrorist Houthi militia's attacks on the Kingdom and attempts to target the holy capital (Mecca) and the city of the Prophet (Medina), as well as the deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians and civilian objects in several cities of the Kingdom (Riyadh, Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, Najran, Taif, and Yanbu), along with attempts to target Saudi ships in the southern Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, necessitate the continuation of necessary and essential measures to deter the hostile actions of the terrorist Houthi militia in order to protect the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom as well as regional and international security.
Major General Al-Maliki affirmed the Kingdom's inherent right to defend its sovereignty and protect its security, taking all operational measures to deter this militia and stop its grave violations, based on its national responsibility towards the two holy mosques, its citizens, its national resources, and residents on its territory. He also emphasized the Kingdom's continued support for Yemen and its brotherly people until the state and its institutions are restored and the terrorist Houthi militia is eliminated, thereby ending its threat to the freedom of maritime navigation in the southern Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, considering this threat a violation of regional and international security and a threat to freedom of navigation and international trade, which are vital to the global economy and affect the regional and international security and national interests of all countries.
