نجحت قوات الجيش السوداني في السيطرة على منطقة المزروب بعد معارك مع الدعم السريع في شمال كردفان. وأكدت مصادر عسكرية، اليوم الجمعة، أن قوات الجيش السوداني بسطت سيطرتها على منطقة المزروب بولاية شمال كردفان، عقب عمليات عسكرية استهدفت تعزيز وجود الجيش في المنطقة وتأمين مواقعه الحيوية. وأفادت مصادر ميدانية بأن القوات المسلحة أحكمت سيطرتها على المنطقة، وسط استمرار عمليات التمشيط والتأمين. وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل استمرار العمليات العسكرية في عدد من مناطق شمال كردفان، مع تصاعد التحركات الرامية إلى تعزيز السيطرة على المواقع الإستراتيجية وطرق الإمداد بالولاية. وتقع منطقة المزروب في ولاية شمال كردفان إلى الغرب من مدينة بارا وشمال غربي مدينة الأبيض، وتتبع إدارياً لمحلية غرب بارا. وتُعد المنطقة ذات أهمية جغرافية لوقوعها على مسارات تربط مناطق شمال كردفان بولايات دارفور وغرب كردفان.
وأعلن الجيش السوداني في بيان، أن قواته والقوات المساندة واصلت تنفيذ عملياتها في مختلف المحاور، وتمكنت من السيطرة على منطقة المزروب بولاية شمال كردفان بعد معارك شرسة، أسفرت عن خسائر في صفوف قوات الدعم السريع ومركباتها. ودعا الجيش السوداني المواطنين في المناطق التي قال إنه استعاد السيطرة عليها إلى الاطمئنان والعودة إلى ممارسة حياتهم الطبيعية، مؤكداً مواصلة حماية المدنيين وتأمين الممتلكات، واستمرار عملياته حتى استعادة السيطرة على البلاد.

The Al-Mazrub area is located in North Kordofan state, west of the city of Bara and northwest of the city of Al-Obeid, and is administratively part of the West Bara locality. The area is of geographical importance due to its location on routes connecting North Kordofan with the Darfur and West Kordofan states.
The Sudanese army announced in a statement that its forces and supporting troops continued to carry out operations across various fronts and managed to take control of the Al-Mazrub area in North Kordofan after fierce battles, which resulted in losses among the Rapid Support Forces and their vehicles. The Sudanese army called on citizens in the areas it claimed to have regained control over to feel reassured and return to their normal lives, affirming its commitment to protecting civilians and securing property, and to continue its operations until control over the country is fully restored.
