فيما تتسع القيود المفروضة على حركة الطيران الإيراني إلى دول عدة في المنطقة والعالم، أعلنت مطارات النجف وأربيل والسليمانية في العراق، اليوم (الجمعة)، إيقاف جميع الرحلات الجوية القادمة والمغادرة من وإلى إيران.
وأوضحت إدارة مطار النجف، في بيان اليوم، أنها علقت الرحلات بين المطار والمطارات الإيرانية، مبينة أن القرار جاء استناداً إلى التوجيهات الرسمية الصادرة من الجهات المختصة.
وأشارت إلى أن تعليق الرحلات بدأ عند الساعة 02:00 من فجر اليوم (الجمعة) 25 سبتمبر، ويشمل جميع الرحلات القادمة والمغادرة من وإلى إيران. وبحسب وكالة الأنباء العراقية «واع»، طلبت إدارة المطار من شركات الطيران والجهات التشغيلية المعنية اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة بشأن الرحلات المشمولة بالقرار، مع عدم تنفيذ أي ترتيبات تشغيلية تخص الرحلات خلال فترة الإيقاف.
وذكرت إدارة المطار أنها ستبلغ شركات الطيران والجهات ذات الصلة بأي مستجدات أو توجيهات رسمية بشأن استئناف الرحلات، دون أن تحدد في بيانها الجهة التي أصدرت التوجيهات أو الأسباب المباشرة وراء قرار التعليق.
وكان مطارا أربيل والسليمانية قد علّقا جميع الرحلات الجوية الإيرانية اعتباراً من اليوم، في أحدث تداعيات العقوبات الأمريكية الجديدة على قطاع الطيران الإيراني، فيما علّقت أمس مطارات أخرى، من بينها مطار بغداد.
يأتي ذلك في وقت أوقفت فيه مطارات عدد من دول العالم رحلاتها مع إيران، بينها دول مجاورة، أبرزها سلطنة عُمان وأذربيجان وجورجيا وتركمانستان والإمارات.
في المقابل، حذر مستشار المرشد الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي، اليوم، من أنه إذا تعذر على طهران تسيير رحلات جوية والحصول على خدمات المطارات، فلن يتمكن أحد في المنطقة من ذلك أيضاً.
وقال محمد مخبر، في منشور على منصة «إكس»، إن «التماهي مع الولايات المتحدة في تنفيذ السياسات العدائية سيبقى راسخاً في ذاكرة الشعب الإيراني»، مضيفاً أن إستراتيجية بلاده في هذا الملف «واضحة»، ومفادها أن تكون حرية الطيران في المنطقة متاحة للجميع أو لا تكون لأحد.
وشدد مخبر بالقول: «إذا حُرمت إيران من حق الطيران والحصول على خدمات المطارات، فلن يتمكن أحد من ذلك أيضاً».
As the restrictions on Iranian air travel to several countries in the region and the world expand, the airports of Najaf, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah in Iraq announced today (Friday) the suspension of all flights coming to and from Iran.
The management of Najaf Airport clarified in a statement today that it has suspended flights between the airport and Iranian airports, indicating that the decision was based on official directives issued by the relevant authorities.
It noted that the suspension of flights began at 02:00 AM today (Friday), September 25, and includes all flights coming to and from Iran. According to the Iraqi News Agency "WAA," the airport management requested airlines and the relevant operational authorities to take the necessary measures regarding the flights covered by the decision, with no operational arrangements to be made for flights during the suspension period.
The airport management stated that it will inform airlines and related parties of any updates or official directives regarding the resumption of flights, without specifying in its statement the authority that issued the directives or the direct reasons behind the suspension decision.
Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports had suspended all Iranian flights starting today, in the latest repercussions of the new U.S. sanctions on the Iranian aviation sector, while other airports, including Baghdad Airport, suspended flights yesterday.
This comes at a time when airports in several countries around the world have halted their flights with Iran, including neighboring countries, most notably Oman, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, and the UAE.
In contrast, the advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, warned today that if Tehran is unable to operate flights and obtain airport services, no one in the region will be able to do so either.
Mohammad Mokhber stated in a post on the "X" platform that "aligning with the United States in implementing hostile policies will remain firmly in the memory of the Iranian people," adding that his country's strategy in this matter is "clear," which is that air travel freedom in the region should be available to everyone or to no one.
Mokhber emphasized by saying: "If Iran is deprived of the right to fly and obtain airport services, then no one will be able to do so either."
