دعا الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب (الإثنين) إلى إنهاء الحرب التي وصفها بـ«السخيفة» بين روسيا وأوكرانيا، مؤكداً أنها تسببت في معاناة العالم بأسره.
وكتب ترمب على منصته «تروث سوشيال»: لسوء الحظ، فقدت روسيا السيطرة على قطاع زيت الديزل لديها بسبب حربها مع أوكرانيا، مضيفاً: تعرض عدد كبير من مصافي الديزل التابعة لروسيا للتدمير، وأصبحت، على الأقل مؤقتاً، خارج الخدمة.
وشدد على ضرورة إنهاء الحرب قائلاً: «يجب إنهاء هذه الحرب السخيفة التي لا نهاية لها مع أوكرانيا»، موضحاً أن العالم بأسره يعاني، ويُقتل 25 ألف شخص، معظمهم من الجنود، كل شهر، يا له من أمر مؤسف!
في المقابل، قال الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي إن زابوريجيا تعرضت لهجوم روسي شرس مساء أمس، موضحاً على حسابه في «إكس» أن مباني سكنية تضررت ومنشأة تابعة لإحدى الجامعات، ومركز تسوق، ومبنى للغلايات. وأشار إلى أنه أُبلغ عن إصابة خمسة أشخاص، فيما جرى إجلاء بعض السكان، مبيناً أن منطقة لوزوفا بخاركيف قُتلت فيها امرأة جراء هجوم بطائرة مسيرة، كما أُصيب ثلاثة أشخاص آخرين.
وأوضح زيلينسكي أن القوات الروسية استهدفت 10 مناطق أوكرانية مساءً وطوال الليل، متهماً روسيا بالتصعيد وتوسيع الحرب. ودعا الرئيس الأوكراني إلى الضغط على روسيا لإنهاء هذه الحرب، مشدداً على ضرورة أن تسير الدبلوماسية بالتوازي مع الضغوط.
U.S. President Donald Trump called on Monday for an end to the "silly" war between Russia and Ukraine, emphasizing that it has caused suffering for the entire world.
Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social": Unfortunately, Russia has lost control of its diesel oil sector due to its war with Ukraine, adding: A large number of Russian diesel refineries have been destroyed and are, at least temporarily, out of service.
He stressed the need to end the war, saying: "This endless silly war with Ukraine must be brought to an end," explaining that the entire world is suffering, and 25,000 people, mostly soldiers, are killed every month—what a shame!
In contrast, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Zaporizhzhia was subjected to a fierce Russian attack last night, explaining on his account on "X" that residential buildings were damaged along with a facility belonging to one of the universities, a shopping center, and a boiler house. He noted that five people were reported injured, while some residents were evacuated, indicating that a woman was killed in the Lozova area of Kharkiv due to a drone attack, and three other people were injured.
Zelensky explained that Russian forces targeted 10 Ukrainian areas in the evening and throughout the night, accusing Russia of escalating and expanding the war. The Ukrainian president called for pressure on Russia to end this war, emphasizing that diplomacy must proceed in parallel with the pressures.
