قال رئيس الجزائر عبد المجيد تبون إنه لا يستبعد وجود ما وصفها بـ«أياد إجرامية» وراء اندلاع الحرائق التي تشهدها عدة ولايات في البلاد منذ أيام.
وذكر تبون، خلال تفقده حالة المصابين في أحد المستشفيات، في تصريح أوردته وكالة الأنباء الجزائرية، أنه «من غير المستبعد وجود أياد إجرامية تسببت في اندلاعها، خاصة بالنظر إلى القوة التي انطلقت بها هذه الحرائق».
وأضاف أنه «سيتم إجراء التحقيقات الضرورية» في هذا الصدد، مشيراً في الوقت ذاته إلى أن عامل الرياح صعب من مهمة إخماد الحرائق.
حرائق غابات في المناطق الشمالية من الجزائر
وتشهد المناطق الشمالية من الجزائر حرائق غابات بصورة متكررة خلال فصل الصيف، مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة وتراجع معدلات الرطوبة وهبوب الرياح، ما يزيد من مخاطر اندلاعها وسرعة انتشارها.
وتسببت حرائق واسعة شهدتها البلاد خلال الأعوام الماضية في سقوط عشرات الضحايا وتضرر مساحات كبيرة من الغابات والأراضي الزراعية والممتلكات، ما دفع السلطات إلى تعزيز إجراءات الوقاية والمراقبة ورفع جاهزية فرق ووسائل الإطفاء.
The President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stated that he does not rule out the possibility of what he described as "criminal hands" behind the outbreaks of fires that have been occurring in several states across the country for days.
Tebboune mentioned, during his visit to check on the condition of the injured in one of the hospitals, in a statement reported by the Algerian News Agency, that "it is not unlikely that there are criminal hands responsible for igniting them, especially considering the intensity with which these fires have started."
He added that "necessary investigations will be conducted" in this regard, while also pointing out that the factor of wind complicates the task of extinguishing the fires.
حرائق غابات في المناطق الشمالية من الجزائر
The northern regions of Algeria experience forest fires repeatedly during the summer season, with rising temperatures, declining humidity levels, and strong winds, which increase the risks of their outbreak and rapid spread.
Widespread fires that have occurred in the country over the past years have resulted in dozens of casualties and significant damage to large areas of forests, agricultural lands, and properties, prompting the authorities to enhance preventive and monitoring measures and increase the readiness of firefighting teams and equipment.
