أحبط الجيش والأمن اليمني اليوم (السبت) هجوماً حوثياً بزورق مفخخ كان يستهدف خطوط الملاحة الدولية، فيما تم تفكيك لغم زرعته المليشيا في الممر الدولي.
وقال مصدر عسكري إن قوات خفر السواحل اليمنية وألوية المقاومة الوطنية تمكنت من تدمير زورق مفخخ تابع لمليشيا الحوثي، وإزالة خطر لغم بحري زرعته المليشيا بالقرب من باب المندب.
وأوضح المصدر أنه تم العثور على اللغم في منطقة حيوية للممر الدولي قبل أن تقوم القوات البحرية بتعطيله واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لإنهاء خطره، مبيناً أن وجود هذا اللغم يعد تطوراً خطيراً في التهديدات الحوثية لأمن الملاحة في أحد أهم الممرات البحرية الدولية.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن ما تقوم به القوات البحرية من خطوات لتأمين الملاحة الدولية واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لإنهاء خطر الحوثي يأتي ضمن مهمات الدولة اليمنية لحماية السواحل اليمنية.
ويواصل الجيش اليمني عملية الرصد والتتبع للطائرات المسيرة الحوثية والزوارق المفخخة، وتمكن خلال الساعات الماضية من إحباط هجوم حوثي بمسيرة كانت في طريقها لاستهداف مناطق للنازحين في منطقة العبر.
وقال مصدر عسكري إن إسقاط الطائرة جاء في إطار الجاهزية العالية لمنظومات الرصد والدفاع واليقظة المستمرة، مشدداً على استمرار القوات في حماية المناطق الحدودية والتصدي لأي تهديدات عدائية.

A military source stated that the Yemeni coast guard and the National Resistance Brigades managed to destroy a booby-trapped boat belonging to the Houthi militia and remove the threat of a sea mine planted by the militia near Bab al-Mandab.
The source explained that the mine was found in a vital area of the international corridor before the naval forces disabled it and took the necessary measures to eliminate its danger, indicating that the presence of this mine represents a serious development in the Houthi threats to the security of navigation in one of the most important international maritime routes.
The source pointed out that the actions taken by the naval forces to secure international navigation and implement necessary measures to eliminate the Houthi threat are part of the Yemeni state's mission to protect Yemeni shores.
The Yemeni army continues to monitor and track Houthi drones and booby-trapped boats, and in recent hours, it managed to thwart a Houthi attack involving a drone that was on its way to target areas for displaced persons in the Al-Abd area.
A military source stated that the downing of the drone was part of the high readiness of the monitoring and defense systems and continuous vigilance, emphasizing that the forces will continue to protect border areas and confront any hostile threats.
