حذر رئيس الوزراء اللبناني نواف سلام، من أنّ التصعيد الإسرائيلي الذي تشهده مدينة النبطية وبلدة أنصار ودير الزهراني والقرى المجاورة، وما رافقه من غارات وقصف كثيف وترهيب للأهالي في منازلهم، أمر بالغ الخطورة ويقوّض مساعي تثبيت الاستقرار في الجنوب.
وقال إن ضحايا الغارة الإسرائيلية الـ7 الذين سقطوا في بلدة أنصار ليسوا «بنية تحتية عسكرية، والأطفال والنساء الذين قُتلوا فيه ليسوا أهدافاً عسكرية».
وأكد أن مسؤولية التعامل مع أي بنى عسكرية، إذا وُجدت على الأراضي اللبنانية، هي «مسؤولية الدولة اللبنانية حصراً، من خلال الجيش اللبناني ومؤسساتها الشرعية، ولا يمنح وجودها إسرائيل حق استباحة الأراضي اللبنانية أو تعريض المدنيين للخطر».
وطالب نواف إسرائيل بوقف هذا التصعيد، مؤكدا أن أمن أهلنا وحقهم في الحياة على أرضهم ليسا موضع تفاوض أو مساومة.
وكان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، أعلن اليوم (السبت)، أنه شن خلال الليلة الماضية، غارات على منطقتي النبطية وأنصار جنوبي لبنان.
وزعم الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان أنه هاجم بنى تحتية تابعة لجماعة حزب الله في المنطقتين، فيما قالت الوكالة اللبنانية للإعلام إن غارات إسرائيلية على منزل في أطراف بلدة أنصار الجنوبية، قتلت 7 لبنانيين وأدت لإصابة 3 آخرين، ودمرت المبنى.
وأضافت الوكالة أن فرق الإسعاف والدفاع المدني اللبناني تعمل على رفع الأنقاض وسحب الجثامين والجرحى إلى مستشفيات النبطية.
The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, warned that the Israeli escalation witnessed in the city of Nabatiyeh, the town of Ansar, and Deir Zahani and the surrounding villages, along with the accompanying airstrikes, heavy shelling, and intimidation of residents in their homes, is extremely dangerous and undermines efforts to stabilize the south.
He stated that the 7 victims of the Israeli airstrike who fell in the town of Ansar are not "military infrastructure, and the children and women who were killed are not military targets."
He emphasized that the responsibility for dealing with any military infrastructure, if it exists on Lebanese territory, lies "exclusively with the Lebanese state, through the Lebanese Army and its legitimate institutions, and the presence of such infrastructure does not grant Israel the right to violate Lebanese territory or endanger civilians."
Nawaf called on Israel to stop this escalation, affirming that the safety of our people and their right to live on their land are not subject to negotiation or compromise.
The Israeli occupation army announced today (Saturday) that it carried out airstrikes last night on the areas of Nabatiyeh and Ansar in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army claimed in a statement that it attacked infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in the two areas, while the Lebanese news agency reported that Israeli airstrikes on a house on the outskirts of the southern town of Ansar killed 7 Lebanese and injured 3 others, destroying the building.
The agency added that Lebanese rescue and civil defense teams are working to remove the rubble and transfer the bodies and the injured to hospitals in Nabatiyeh.
