أكد محافظ أبين اللواء الدكتور مختار الهيثمي أن المملكة العربية السعودية أثبتت حضورها الراسخ والفاعل في وجدان الشعب اليمني، من خلال بصماتها الواضحة ومشاريعها التنموية المستدامة التي أسهمت بشكل مباشر في تحسين جودة الحياة وتخفيف المعاناة في مختلف المحافظات.
جاء ذلك خلال اختتام أعمال الورشة الفنية الخاصة بدعم مشاريع تطوير البنية التحتية وتحسين مستوى الخدمات العامة، بحضور مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن المهندس أحمد مدخلي.
مسيرة عطاء وشراكة حقيقية
وأوضح محافظ أبين أن الدعم السخي والمستمر الذي تقدمه المملكة يجسد عمق أواصر الأخوة ومتانة العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية التي تجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، مشيراً إلى أن البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن يُعد شريكاً رئيسياً وفاعلاً في مسيرة البناء والتنمية بالمحافظة.
ولفت الهيثمي إلى أن مخرجات الورشة التي امتدت لاجتماعات ولقاءات مكثفة تمثل خطوة محورية نحو تحديد أولويات المشاريع التنموية بدقة، بما يتوافق مع الاحتياجات الفعلية لمختلف مديريات أبين.
وثمّن محافظ أبين الجهود الحثيثة التي يبذلها البرنامج السعودي وفريقه الميداني، مؤكداً التزام السلطة المحلية التام بتذليل كافة الصعوبات وتوفير التسهيلات اللازمة لإنجاح المشاريع ذات الأولوية.
التزام سعودي مستمر
من جانبه، جَدّد مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن المهندس أحمد مدخلي التأكيد على التزام البرنامج الراسخ بمواصلة الشراكة الفاعلة مع السلطة المحلية في محافظة أبين.
وأوضح مدخلي أن البرنامج مستمر في تقديم الدعم النوعي والاستراتيجي للمشاريع التي تسهم في تطوير البنية التحتية، والارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات الأساسية، بما ينعكس إيجابياً وبشكل ملموس على الحياة اليومية للمواطنين، ويعزز جهود التنمية المستدامة.
حزمة مشاريع حيوية وآليات تنفيذية
واختُتمت الورشة بإقرار حزمة من المشاريع الاستراتيجية ذات الأولوية في القطاعات الحيوية، إلى جانب الاتفاق على تعزيز قنوات التنسيق والتكامل المستمر بين الجهات المعنية، وصياغة آليات تنفيذية دقيقة تكفل سرعة الإنجاز، وترفع كفاءة العمل الميداني، بما يضمن تحقيق أفضل النتائج المرجوة لخدمة أبناء المحافظة.
يُذكر أن البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن قدّم أكثر من 300 مشروع ومبادرة تنموية نفذها في مختلف المحافظات اليمنية، لتغطي قطاعات حيوية تشمل التعليم، والصحة، والطاقة، والنقل، والمياه، والزراعة والثروة السمكية، وبناء قدرات المؤسسات الحكومية لدعم الاستقرار وتحسين الحياة اليومية للسكان في اليمن.
The Governor of Abyan, Major General Dr. Mukhtar Al-Haythami, confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has demonstrated its strong and effective presence in the hearts of the Yemeni people, through its clear fingerprints and sustainable development projects that have directly contributed to improving the quality of life and alleviating suffering in various governorates.
This came during the conclusion of the technical workshop dedicated to supporting infrastructure development projects and improving the level of public services, in the presence of the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali.
A Journey of Giving and True Partnership
The Governor of Abyan explained that the generous and continuous support provided by the Kingdom embodies the depth of brotherhood ties and the strength of the historical and fraternal relations that unite the two countries and their peoples, noting that the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen is a key and effective partner in the journey of construction and development in the governorate.
Al-Haythami pointed out that the outcomes of the workshop, which extended to intensive meetings and discussions, represent a pivotal step towards accurately identifying the priorities of development projects, in line with the actual needs of the various districts of Abyan.
The Governor of Abyan appreciated the diligent efforts made by the Saudi program and its field team, affirming the local authority's full commitment to overcoming all difficulties and providing the necessary facilities to ensure the success of priority projects.
Continuous Saudi Commitment
For his part, the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali, renewed the program's steadfast commitment to continuing the effective partnership with the local authority in Abyan Governorate.
Madkhali clarified that the program continues to provide qualitative and strategic support for projects that contribute to developing infrastructure and enhancing the level of basic services, which positively and tangibly reflects on the daily lives of citizens and strengthens sustainable development efforts.
A Package of Vital Projects and Executive Mechanisms
The workshop concluded with the approval of a package of strategic projects prioritized in vital sectors, along with an agreement to enhance channels of coordination and continuous integration among the concerned parties, and to formulate precise executive mechanisms that ensure swift implementation and improve the efficiency of fieldwork, thereby ensuring the achievement of the best desired results to serve the people of the governorate.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has presented more than 300 development projects and initiatives implemented in various Yemeni governorates, covering vital sectors including education, health, energy, transportation, water, agriculture, and fisheries, as well as building the capacities of government institutions to support stability and improve the daily lives of the population in Yemen.
