شنت مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، اليوم (الخميس)، هجوماً بالصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة استهدف عدداً من معسكرات ووحدات القوات المسلحة اليمنية في محافظتي مأرب وحضرموت، ما أسفر عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى في صفوف العسكريين، وفق ما أعلنته وزارة الدفاع اليمنية.
استهداف المعسكرات
وقالت وزارة الدفاع، في بيان، إن الهجوم استهدف القوات أثناء تنفيذها مهامها في تأمين المناطق المحررة والطرق الدولية، والتصدي لمخططات المليشيا وشبكات التهريب التابعة لها، مؤكدة أن الضحايا من منتسبي القوات المسلحة المرابطين في المواقع المستهدفة ومن مختلف المحافظات اليمنية.
وأضافت أن الهجوم يعكس استمرار مليشيا الحوثي في استهداف اليمنيين وتصعيد عملياتها العسكرية، في ظل استمرار المواجهات مع القوات الحكومية.
توعد بالرد
وأكدت وزارة الدفاع أن القوات المسلحة سترد على الهجوم «في الزمان والمكان المناسبين»، مشددة على أن الاعتداء لن يؤثر في جاهزية القوات أو عزيمتها، بل سيزيدها إصراراً على الدفاع عن الجمهورية، واستعادة مؤسسات الدولة، وإنهاء الانقلاب.
نعي الضحايا
ونعت الوزارة شهداء القوات المسلحة الذين سقطوا في الهجوم، وقدمت التعازي إلى أسرهم وذويهم، متمنية الشفاء العاجل للمصابين، ومؤكدة أن دماءهم لن تذهب هدراً، وأن تضحياتهم ستظل دافعاً لمواصلة معركة استعادة الدولة وترسيخ مؤسساتها.
The Houthi terrorist militia launched, today (Thursday), an attack using ballistic missiles and drones targeting several camps and units of the Yemeni armed forces in the provinces of Marib and Hadramout, resulting in casualties among military personnel, according to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense.
Targeting the Camps
The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that the attack targeted the forces while they were carrying out their duties to secure the liberated areas and international roads, and to confront the militia's plans and its smuggling networks, confirming that the victims were members of the armed forces stationed at the targeted sites from various Yemeni provinces.
It added that the attack reflects the continued targeting of Yemenis by the Houthi militia and the escalation of its military operations, amidst ongoing confrontations with government forces.
Vow to Respond
The Ministry of Defense affirmed that the armed forces will respond to the attack "at the right time and place," emphasizing that the assault will not affect the readiness or determination of the forces, but will rather increase their resolve to defend the republic, restore state institutions, and end the coup.
Condolences for the Victims
The ministry mourned the martyrs of the armed forces who fell in the attack, offering condolences to their families and loved ones, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and confirming that their blood will not be in vain, and that their sacrifices will remain a motivation to continue the battle to restore the state and solidify its institutions.
