Al-Bakri said during the committee meeting, chaired by the member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramout, Salem Al-Khanbashi, that supporting fighters on the fronts, in defense of the state and the republic, represents a national duty and a shared responsibility. He emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and coordinating support and assistance for the forces and fighters on various fronts, indicating that this committee is a support and reinforcement committee for fighters on the fronts starting today.
He clarified that this work aims to support the fronts whether in Al-Dhale, the coast, Taiz, Yafa, Al-Jawf, or Marib.
Al-Bakri addressed the Yemeni people, saying: We are facing a national mission that brings together all our people against the coup militia supported by Iran, indicating that all resources will be mobilized from the chambers of commerce and the community with everything they have to support those stationed on the fronts, noting that all ministries and provincial officials will participate in supporting the fighters on the fronts.
He pointed out that the committee will undertake the organization of both state sectors and the private sector and the community, arranging it in a way that ensures support and assistance reaches the fighters in the front lines, appreciating the sacrifices made by the dead, the wounded, and everyone participating in defending Yemen against the Iranian project.
On another note, a military source confirmed to "Okaz" the capture of a Houthi leader and six of his companions on the Khaboub front at Bab Al-Mandab. According to the source, the entire Khaboub mountain range is under the control of the Yemeni army, and the Houthis have not been able to advance an inch in it.
In the Al-Wazi'iyah district west of Taiz, military sources confirmed that the army thwarted a Houthi attack on Mount Haradh, forcing them to retreat after inflicting heavy losses. Additionally, warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting Houthi positions in the Al-Dharifah and Al-Mashjab areas in several frontline regions.
For its part, the media center of the Taiz axis stated that government forces foiled an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia on the Al-Anin front in the Jabal Habashi district.
The center explained that government forces shot down two drones belonging to the militia, one in Jabal Jirad south-west of Taiz and the other on the Al-Kudha front west of the province, which were loaded with a mortar shell.
