أعرب مدرب منتخب الكونغو كلود لوروا، عن استيائه الشديد من سلوك وكلاء اللاعبين، الذين يطمعون في الحصول على مبالغ طائلة مقابل السماح لموكليهم بالرحيل خلال فترة التوقف الدولي الحالية.
40 ألف يورو لكل مباراة!
وقال الفرنسي لوروا، الملقب بـ«الساحر الأبيض»، في تصريحات نقلتها شبكة «RMC» الفرنسية: «بعض الوكلاء، ولن أذكر أسماء، طالبوا بمبالغ طائلة مقابل انضمام بعض اللاعبين، وعندما أقول مبالغ طائلة، أعتقد أنكم ستدركون مدى فظاعة طلبهم؛ ما يقارب 30 مليون فرنك أفريقي (40 ألف يورو تقريباً) لمجرد خوض مباراة واحدة مع المنتخب الوطني، لم أكن أعلم بوجود مثل هذه الأمور من قبل».
سماسرة الكرة «لا يرون مصلحة اللاعب»
وأضاف: «بعض اللاعبين يتلقون نصائح سيئة للغاية من وكلاء يمثلون سماسرة كرة القدم الحديثة، إنهم لا يرون مصلحة اللاعب في المقام الأول، ولا يفكرون حتى في مصلحة البلد، لأنهم غالباً ليسوا من نفس بلد اللاعب، لذا فهم لا يكترثون لجمهورية الكونغو، وكل ما يهمهم هو جني أكبر قدر ممكن من المال منه».
لورا يُهدد بالرحيل
وواصل: «أستطيع أن أؤكد لكم أمراً واحداً: في اليوم الذي أوافق فيه على منح اللاعبين ولو 100 يورو، بغض النظر عما يحصلون عليه عادةً من نفقات المباريات ومكافآت الفوز والتعادل، ولا شيء في حال الخسارة، فسأرحل فوراً».
«يجب أن يتقاضى اللاعبون رواتبهم»
واختتم حديثه قائلاً: «يجب أن يتقاضى اللاعبون رواتبهم لأنهم محترفون، ويجب توفير أفضل الظروف لهم حتى أتمكن من مطالبتهم بأعلى معايير الجودة، يجب أن تُوفر لهم أفضل الظروف حتى لا نُقدم لهم أي امتيازات».
The coach of the Congo national team, Claude Leroy, expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the behavior of player agents, who are greedy for large sums of money in exchange for allowing their clients to leave during the current international break.

The Frenchman Leroy, nicknamed "the white magician," stated in remarks reported by the French network "RMC": "Some agents, and I won't mention names, have demanded exorbitant amounts for the inclusion of certain players, and when I say exorbitant amounts, I believe you will realize how outrageous their demands are; nearly 30 million Central African francs (approximately 40,000 euros) just to play one match with the national team. I was not aware that such things existed before."
Football agents "do not see the player's interest"
He added: "Some players receive extremely poor advice from agents representing modern football brokers. They do not see the player's interest as a priority, nor do they even think about the interest of the country, because they are often not from the same country as the player, so they do not care about the Republic of Congo; all they care about is making as much money as possible from him."
Leroy threatens to leave
He continued: "I can assure you of one thing: on the day I agree to give players even 100 euros, regardless of what they usually receive in match expenses and bonuses for wins and draws, and nothing in case of losses, I will leave immediately."
"Players must receive their salaries"
He concluded his remarks by saying: "Players must receive their salaries because they are professionals, and the best conditions must be provided for them so that I can demand the highest standards of quality from them; the best conditions must be provided so that we do not offer them any privileges."
