أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، اليوم (الأربعاء)، أن إيران وسلطنة عُمان اتفقتا على خصائص جغرافية للمسارات في مضيق هرمز، موضحة أن الإعلان المشترك بين الجانبين بات في مراحله النهائية، لكنه لا يزال مرهوناً بعدم تدخل أطراف ثالثة محددة.
وقال متحدث في وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إن الاتفاق بين إيران وسلطنة عُمان لا يعني بحد ذاته أن المضيق أصبح آمناً، لافتاً إلى أن طهران تتبادل وجهات النظر مع باكستان.
وأضاف: «لا خطط لسفر وزير الخارجية عباس عراقجي أو رئيس البرلمان محمد باقر قاليباف إلى باكستان أو قطر»، مشيراً إلى أن «العوامل التي تهدد أمن الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، وعلى رأسها الحصار البحري الأمريكي والإجراءات العدوانية والتهديدية ضد إيران ومصالحها، لا تزال قائمة».
ولفت إلى أن بلاده درست مختلف الأبعاد الفنية والقانونية والأمنية والبيئية في المحادثات مع عمان بشأن مضيق هرمز.
في غضون ذلك، أعلنت أمريكا اليوم، رفع عقوبات كانت قد فرضتها على شركة طيران عراقية على خلفية شبهات في ارتباطها بالحرس الثوري الإيراني.
وأفادت وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية على موقعها الإلكتروني بأنها رفعت العقوبات عن شركة طيران عراقية وطائرتين من أسطولها، لكنها ما زالت سارية في حق مالك الشركة بشير عبدالكاظم علوان الشباني.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced today (Wednesday) that Iran and Oman have agreed on geographical characteristics for the routes in the Strait of Hormuz, clarifying that the joint announcement between the two sides is in its final stages, but it is still contingent upon the non-interference of specific third parties.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that the agreement between Iran and Oman does not, by itself, mean that the strait has become safe, noting that Tehran is exchanging views with Pakistan.
He added, "There are no plans for Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi or Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf to travel to Pakistan or Qatar," pointing out that "the factors threatening the security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, foremost among them the American maritime blockade and aggressive and threatening actions against Iran and its interests, are still in place."
He noted that his country has studied various technical, legal, security, and environmental dimensions in the discussions with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
Meanwhile, the U.S. announced today the lifting of sanctions that had been imposed on an Iraqi airline due to suspicions of its links to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
The U.S. Treasury Department stated on its website that it has lifted sanctions on an Iraqi airline and two aircraft from its fleet, but sanctions against the owner of the company, Bashir Abdul-Kazem Alwan Al-Shabani, are still in effect.
